This!! So true!! I was approached at my job by a man and he was inviting, fun, inquisitive and of course flirty. He asked for my number and yes crazy me gave it…. Two weeks later he text me. We’ve met for breakfast and we text and talked. What’s next? The idea should be that if they aren’t interested… hopefully it’s with kindness you will find out!! Something like that happened with me. I was in college and saw this girl I had seen few weeks earlier during admission process. I casually went to her and asker her if she remembered seeing me there and she said no. I asked some more details after introduction like her major and other stuff. Then I forgot about her and few weeks later she approached me and later asked my number. We never dated because I wasn't interested but I hope she asks for your number too.

Definitely have to be careful and considerate of the age of the person you’re talking to, you don’t wanna be a creep.
Usually at the beach I’ll strike up a conversation, and try to surmise their age right away if I’m unsure. Asking about their job or college at some point early on can help, but I rarely if ever have made that mistake and talked to a teenager, you just stick to the girls who look 20+
Never really liked mall pick up, unless it’s outdoors. Outdoorsy places are best for me. Events too, try to go to concerts or festivals or even meetup groups and stuff. Touristy locations are good.

That's the thing. Life isn't black and white. These "don't do that perspectives" are generalizations that never account for the individual.
If a guy can can approach at the gym and not be overly awkward and take rejection well then go for it.
As a man I don't tend to like chatting at the gym but I sometimes do it because people chat me up. Most of the time it's not awkward and often the convos are interesting.

until a Karen goes to the manager and says you harassed her. they'd cut the dude's membership in two secs. many gyms have these kinds of things buried in the huge contract.
Most women have reported they never want to be approached at the gym as they are already feeling too vulnerable and those that have been approached report it's been some of the creepiest things ever.
If you want to meat women at the gym, put out the vibe and let them approach you. I knew a few dudes in the mid 80s to 90's that used places like Bally's, Olympia, and Scandinavian Gyms to practically have orgies. The dynamic has changed a lot since then. I have been with a few chicks from gyms, but I never approached and almost all said if I did do the approach we'd have never banged. That said, it's just sex. Nice body enjoyment.
I just find it interesting the gyms are being mentioned so often as it's usually just fantasy land for most to pick up the hot gym babes.

That's why I said it depends on the guy. Dudes with game know how to seduce without the woman even being aware that she is being gamed.
Obviously a lot of the thirsty guys on here should not practice in the gym but a seasoned man with some notches in the belt and who is smooth can operate just fine in the gym.
Definitely don't hit on every piece of ass in there but rather choose carefully and like you said put out the vibe and capitalize on an opportunity whether that is approach or let her come to you.
Generally I agree with you but for situations of seduction, I leave room for exceptions since there are quite a lot

In today's world (for the last 5+ years anyway), dudes with game don't do well in the gym, it's become the woman's last stand more or less for a safe zone in a way.
The problem many leave out is once some dude is approaching women, they tend to talk. He can have all the game in the world as soon as the other women witness the pickup, he is labelled.
