I don’t recall ever cuddling with a man after having sex for the first time (I haven’t had sex with someone I’ve just met). Maybe once but I’m not sure if my memory is playing me. I’m not that much of a cuddling person, I feel more comfortable just laying in bed and chit chat with the guy. Like, it’s not my natural response to reach for a cuddle.

I can assume that many people, male or female, would like to do it but avoid it because of first time and want to avoid the “serious” vibe cuddling can give to a less emotional person (if you can even call them that).

Some do some don’t, it all depends on the specific people involved and the specific feelings involved.

When I trust someone I LOVE cuddling them, but sometimes I get all in my head on whether I did something wrong and I get all distant. Or I don’t trust someone enough to be vulnerable with them. Etc etc etc (and sensory wise I often overheat or can’t handle too much feeling so then I also stop — but I’m autistic so there’s that)

If it’s a hookup of course they don’t want to cuddle. Cuddling produces oxytocin the bonding hormone. They want to keep things casual and not get too attached. Stop making things weird for them.
