What I like is what it's sub communicating. 'I'm okay with silence and am not going to dance around to impress you.'

Thoughtful silence is good for all interactions. It shows that you care about her question. It's in the same realm as push/pull. Silence brings her to you.

Now I'm craving ramen because tacos aren't an option.

Can confirm this works. Don't answer ALL of her questions, particularly in texts. This will create the condition where she wants to ask you more questions, and know more about you. It constantly leaves her wanting your attention.

This gives you an advantage, as you can better direct the conversations by rewarding the questions you want to answer (by answering them).

I did this to a girl on Saturday. We were making out and she teased me because I had this huge grin on my face apparently (She was hot and I had been looking forward to the date). With one girl I decide to head home after hanging out and she asks why I gotta go so early, I say "look martha, I'm a busy man. I have a lot of things I must attend to every day, like for example my bottle cap collection and my stamp collection (blatant lie and she knows it). Those new George Washington stamps aren't gonna collect themselves! I'm sorry to say, but you're just not that important.. Lates".

Another girl and I were in front of a world map, she asks where my parents are from and guesses by pointing at countries in central America because I'm Latino asf, I grab her hand and guide it across continents until it points to Chelyabinsk, Russia. I made some bullshit, deflective answers assuming she knew I was lying too until months later when we started dating she had to find it out from a mutual acquaintance (as opposed to someone who knows me well).

Another time I imply that I'm actually an immortal when I tell yet another girl, as we cuddle for warmth at a bus stop, about how there were a lot more visible stars in the night sky back in the day.

I use silence sometimes and get the "what?!" reaction (Not because I'm trying for that reaction) and then continue with regular conversation.

Do you try to build on that reaction and escalate/get make flirty/etc? Or just keep conversing normally sprinkling it in and slowly building the tension?

Wow I just realized I do this. Not because I'm a master at seduction, but because I'm horrible at communicating.

I mumble when I'm not paying attention. Sometimes I'll tease a girl and she'll be like "wtf did you just say?" Not because I said something disrespectful, but because I am talking like fucking mush mouth at the moment.

I use to react by explaining what I said in a cringe like manner, and it would be followed by the sound of dry panties and second thoughts.
