It could be a confirmation bias. I don’t give a shit about reply time tho. But I noticed some women that I had slept with replied my msg within a day or 2. On the other hand, there were also the ones who replied fast like less than an hour but never materialize.

My suggestion: don’t take this stuff seriously. You’ll end up getting disappointed. Unless she spreads her legs ready for your dick or at least have your tongue inside her mouth, assume nothing.

There is no correlation, a quick reply means it happens she was checking her phone and saw your text .... don't assume anything else, it makes no sense.

I'm curious, how long did you talk to them? How much did they invest in the conversation? Did they find out something about you or are you still a stranger to them? I always say that if the girl feels comfortable with you, there is no reason not to want to see you again.

Its all about Rapport levels.

Approaching someone and getting a phone number means fuck all. Yes its good in getting over approach anxiety and "pulling the trigger" (going for some sort of close).

However...... from my own experiences, women responding basically requires connecting with them on a deeper level than surface level BS. They need to "feel" a "connection".

Once you get used to approaching and opening. Its about building that connection, so they WANT to see you again. You go from a guy who approached them and got their number, to a guy who connected with them unlike any other guy that they are used to.

"I'm not attractive enough" - You have approached, now its about building comfort and making them want to see you again. Attraction is just the gateway to getting to this point.

When you approach on the streets, are you just asking for their number, going for insta-dates. What are you actually doing?

Advice I heard from a dating expert and also my experience: when doing day game go for a date instead of a number close. First priority: instant date second priority: set up date within the next three days third priority: number close and message here within an hour with something like: it was nice meeting you...and go on from there

Some people just reply faster. Some girls I’m interested in but I don’t reply immediately simply because I’m trying to focus on my work and they it may have just taken too long and oops it’s the next day. That’s simply because I have priorities. I expect girls I’m interested in to have them too.

Just saw a fire yt video on this subject yesterday. He basically said y’all be in too much of a rush, the flame that burns hottest usually fizzles out quickest, and a lot of times a girl needs time to allow herself to like you but if she feels neediness or you tripping over texts it’s a turn off. She should be the one worrrying about texting & response times, if she links you when you ask, if she comes over, that’s what’s important not the mf phone. Her heart grows fond when you’re apart, guys tend to grow fond when together. With all that being said that don’t mean be stupid, if she’s taking her time responding, don’t be texting back soon as she hits you, just text back on your own time and trust that thats fine bc y’all both just living your lives nun too malicious behind it. Also not every text needs a reply. Sometimes just heart it or don’t say anything, wait for the double text to keep her on her toes.

No. There is 0 correlation.

I have had girls respond within seconds and nothing happens.

And girls that respond the next day and we dated for 3 years after.

The reason that “rule” exists is so you don’t think about her for the whole day. (It will make you want her too much )

I’ve noticed there might be a correlation between how fast a girl replies after you first contact her and her interest level.

Conformation bias. As per testing the results were a 10% chance in both cases.

Her responding slower had a slight increase in flaking (like 2% - so it could be just the samples picked).

But honestly, I’ve never been able to meet up with girls after approaching them in the street, and I’m starting to feel like it’s not going to work for me because I’m not attractive enough.

This is I FEEL it should work a certain way. It doesn’t.

What’s been your experience with reply times and interest levels?

No correlation.

I’m a bad texter (aka I don’t reply usually even if I see it - nothing to do with my interest I just forget and it gets buried)

Some girls are too.

Others are not permanently glued to their phones.

Others don’t respond because they get too many (one time on a date she turned her phone off cuz it was constantly buzzing) and there isn’t physically enough time to respond before they get more.

It means nothing.
