Start talking about anecdotes, experiences, and feelings. Women connect with others by sharing how they feel about things, and by relating to other people’s experiences. So focus on that.

If you are talking bout science and history you are focusing on impersonal stuff, things that don’t reflect who you are, your experiences, your feelings,.… Things like the weather, general news, sports, facts… which don’t allow for a significant connection.

So you need to get personal and focus on what i aid, experiences, relatable feelings, anecdotes, emotions, joys, fulfilments, satisfactions,… They don’t care if x historical event happened, or why, they care about how you feel exactly about things.

Do you feel sad that x historical thing happened? Or do you feel happy? Do you feel resentment that x historical thing happened? Do you feel guilt, shame, anger, regret about x historical thing? Do you feel relief, gratitude, nostalgia, pride, hope, admiration, surprise about x historical thing?

You need to express how the thing you are talking about relates to YOU and your emotional state.

Its simpler than you think. I was like you for most of my life and managed to change myself, took some years, but its a progressive thing. Now its easy for me most times. Just focus on feeling and not on technicalities. For example, a woman tells you she did X in traffic and Y happened. You can say or ask something technicaliñ, u know, focusing on the accident or details like "did you or the other car do x, or what signal was on the road or whatever" or you can be emotional like focusing on the experience like "how did you feel when it happened? When something haopens driving I feel like a punch in the stomach, or feel afraid, or feel proud" wtv the situatuon asks for, you have to think about it and it will be weird sometimes but with time you will get used to it. You can apply this to everything and not just with woman, sometimes they want technicalities too, but man tend to over do it.

Any person likes to talk about themselves, whether it's their own personal experiences or interests, etc. In the same way that you tend to lead conversations to science or history, the other person also probably has topics that they are interested in talking about. Try to get them to open up about it. I think being curious of the other person is needed for this though. What do you want to know more about them? Ask those questions without sounding too intrusive.

invite conversation through your observations. explain how something made you feel (positive / strengthening feelings only, never admit to weakness). invite discussion about how a certain event changed her life. Take her on an emotional roller coaster ride.
