And how long would you keep radio silence after you told each other you had a great date, right after the date (asking her to tell you when she’s home safe etc).

I had an amazing date last week, we were kicking it off, constantly laughing, realised we had many shared interests, almost to the point that it was kinda creepy that our stories were so similar. While at the date we already had ideas for the second date. At the end of the date we kissed, so really a pretty good date and very nice new connection was made.

Now from previous experience, when something like this happens I tend to screw it by getting too interested/invested in her too quickly, where it will often eventually bleed out. So this time I decided to keep radio silence for around 3/4 days, and then casually text her, shared some stuff with each other, where I then asked her out for a second date. Now this message is left on seen, which is rather strange regarding her previous communication.

Now what the hell is happening here, is dating in 2024 really this confusing as hell? What rule am I not getting here, should I wait longer, and “make her go crazy and let her think ‘why is he not texting me?’.

Usually don’t have problems like this with dating, but only when I seem to find a really good match. Because let’s be honest if it wasn’t a good match I wouldn’t be this confused
