No. Cold approaches are good for one thing : get over rejection anxiety. They are still, for most people, a terrible strategy for seduction. If you really want to have many beautiful women attracted to you on a regular basis, the actually successful strategy is to lead an exciting life, love yourself to the core of who you are, create many opportunities to meet plenty of people on a deep level naturally, and then be attuned enough to bring those connections into physicality and sexuality.

But many people want the results without having to work on themselves and become actually attractive human beings, so they justify themselves with « oh it’s a number game anyway, gotta approach more ».

The reality is that you can have a constant stream of new sexual connection without money, fame or outstanding physique, without cold approaching ever or using dating apps.

Easy answer, I fucking dont. This sub misconstrues the hell out of cold approach.

Two things are true about courtship: 1. You need to be able to approach when the opportunity presents itself. 2. The law of averages applies to approaches.

Armed with these two fundamental laws, dudes go to the mall and harass a hundred women a day. They get laid occasionally, so they declare themselves PUA's and become weird zealots for cold approach.

If it's not working, stop doing it. You're not just going to suddenly get an epiphany after getting rejected a thousand times. Try other shit.

When you approach and I say with the bottom of my heart; always do it with a smile and in a playful way and often use this opener "are you sisters?" It works every time all the time .

I met my current gf through cold approach and probably did around 50 approaches across several months before meeting her.

I got incredibly lucky to meet her so early in the journey I reckon. 50 is on the low end before achieving success.

It was hard and I had to slog through many painful and awkward approaches.

Think about people who stand outside of stores etc looking for donations. The first thing they typically say has to do with asking for money, sometimes they get money but alot of times they get rejected. If they instead started a conversation and connected with the other person, then eventually asked for money, that person will feel more inclined to give money because of the human connection that was made. Telling a girl shes mad cute right off the bat is really no different, she instantly knows you want her number,etc, essentially bypassing the human connection part. Try focusing on creating a human connection without any pressure (hey your cute, or in the other example - would you like to donate money)- this creates pressure. When there is pressure there is naturally resistance to that pressure. Creating a connection first reduces the amount of pressure that may be felt. I constantly see approaches where guys are opening with an excuse - hey i just saw you and i had to say hi, etc, its giving an excuse for talking to them. Stop giving excuses, you dont go up to a friend and say - i just saw you and had to say hi. No you go up to a friend and say - hey hows your day going etc. treat the girls you approach like you are already good friends and dont need an excuse for why you came up to talk to them.

Any tips on combating this?

Don't watch YT/Tiktok videos of guys doing the same thing, it's not normal... you do it like you said in a bar after a few drinks when your brain can't think of anything more creative, but if you are hammered/high and you do it, or you're a teenager and it's forgivable now, but a healthy cold approach is not like that. All the people who say the opposite don't even think about what happens when you say that to a shy girl, they always assume that the girl is an extrovert - only a 1/8 of girls are extroverts because there are 8 personalities so you can't expect a good response in 80% of the cases.

“hey I just saw you and thought you were mad cute so I thought I’d come over and introduce myself”

I don't think you did that... actually, as I said above, it's forgivable if you're a teenager or drunk. Imagine a girl comes out of nowhere and says to you: "Hey, I like your T-shirt, you look really good, so I thought I would come over and introduce myself" .... Isn't that weird?

It’s about taking action and developing yourself in an area that is worthy of self improvement. And as a result, cultivating a great dating life.

But it is really difficult to meet plenty of people and build up a large social circle, especially if you work a lot. I think in a lot of cases, it is not really feasible.

Never begin with a compliment. You want to make things as normal and comfortable.

That said, there will be always one or two ladies who make bad encounters. They have personal problems
