Two things....

Meet as many PEOPLE as possible. You never know how a new connection may pay off one day.

Seduction to me isn't about being able to get with as many women as possible, it was at one time, instead it is about getting the woman I want when I want. If you build up the personal network by meeting as many people as possible, you'd be amazed how it becomes easier to get those you want, without having to waste time on those you don't just to keep up your numbers.

If you cold approach tons of women then yes, it is a numbers game. But if you look for body language signals before approaching then you'd be amazed how less of a numbers game it is.

In other words, approach women who find you physically attractive and send you signals to approach her.

EDIT: Women can often be extremely subtle. Reading people is a skill per se. But it is fun. Also in normal conversations at work for example.

I've given this advice elsewhere: meet as many people as possible. Do not limit it to women your age, either.

The real value in seddit comes from improving inner game. It's a positive feedback loop. As you meet more people, you'll be exposed to more people.

As your inner game grows and as you experience more facets of life, camaraderie, and sex, the more confident you will be.

It's not a not a numbers game it's a skill quest.

The skill is sorting. You have to know what your skills are, and which target you can succeed with in a very short time.

Eggs in one basket is a bad analogy in seduction. Cause your ultimate goal isn't to minimize your risk, but to have enough skills so in the moment so you can succeed with your chosen target. The number of targets you need to deal with should diminish, so you can do other things in life, and be happy with your sex life.

This resonates with me - this is the cure for early oneitis (that is, the kind you get when you get a date and stop trying for others even though you have no way of knowing whether that one will even turn into anything - the kind where you are hung up on an ex or something is different, IMO).

You know how when you have a girlfriend, other girls seem to come out of the woodwork to show interest in you? It's not just coincidence - it's because having that girlfriend genuinely makes you look and act more confident, laid-back, and happy, and girls (all people) pick up on that. Now imagine how you just got that cutie's number, or how you have a date set up for tonight or whatever. You are going to look and feel more confident as a result of that. Except you don't have a girlfriend now, so use it to your advantage!

Can't agree more? Just got into online dating last month. I've been on 17 dates in the past month and f-closed ( I do hajj right new to reddit) with 8 of those ladies thanks to reading this blog. I've had my ups and downs like you, realizing it's a numbers game was key to that. Ask 20/21 me who'd never been on a date and he'd be shocked. Anyways good advise

It's never a numbers game. It's easier to rationalize it as one because you are less likely to fail.

Eh, the numbers game is fine, and I would recommend everyone read up on "spinning plates", which is what you are describing here. http://therationalmale.com/2011/08/19/plate-theory-2/ It is a core tenet of seduction and any newbie should spin plates when he is just learning.

However, you miss one valuable aspect which is increasing your accuracy. Spinning Plates and hustlin' is fine, but you must continue to look at these different interactions and improve your game. The best way to reduce this,

is to continuously analyze and improve your skill set and frame. It isn't all a numbers game and there are always things to improve upon. If you couldn't f-close on the first date believe me someone else could have.

You are spot-on with pre-selection and the numbers game, but it is not solely your key to success. There is a lot more to it than that.

Yeah it is a numbers game in terms of cold approach. But I think it's important to make sure pick up and cold approach doesn't take over your entire life. Have your priorities straight. Sure getting laid is awesome but is it worth it to blow 3-4 hours of you day for 5 days a week just plain sarging and trying to get dates? Some people may think it's worth it but I personally think that you shouldn't let pick up dominate your life. If your lifestyle is in order, have a good career, living a life you're happy with, then by all means put in your free time for pick up.

Also, little statistic I heard was that out of 20 numbers you get, you'll end up laying one of those girls on average.

Also guess what, that girl you're talking to/seeing/dating or whatever is doing the same thing. You're never the only guy involved with her. It feels sort of like a double standard because she might get jealous you're talking to other women but if she's fairly attractive you must assume there's other guys talking to her.

Getting one or two dates a day is good for YOU. But it's not really good for society if everyone starts doing it.

And that's what has happened now. And that's why there are soooo many flakes.

This trend is only increasing. Expect girls to become even flakier as we'll soon be pushing guys to approach 100 girls a day.

We've (men) pumped up girls self worth and buying price so much from constant approaching.

Right. I like your post and it is a numbers game, but IT IS NOT JUST A NUMBERS GAME.

All I'm saying is that whenever you say things like this, a certain amount of people will look at it and say, "see!" because they think you just kind of neglected to mention than you needed to approach one million women before each time you have sex, or that they will because they're "not handsome" or "not suave," etc.
