I’ve noticed sometimes I’ve treated situations like if it was a competition. Let’s pretend there is a group of guys and there’s one hot girl. I wanted to win. I wanted to be better than those guys. I wanted to be an ideal man. To get a trophy that says “Kasselott is an ideal man”.

I’ve gotten to a point now where I don’t care. I just want to have sex and experience women. Like, rejection does not bother me and I don’t try to be something. I just try to form a connection because I enjoy that.

Why do so many guys desperately want to reach a point where somebody pats them in the back! “Hey, you’re good! Your not a failure! You are an attractive guy! You’ve made it.”?

The reason is that they don’t feel it themselves so they need others to validate them. They feel like they are lacking something and the only way to fill that gap is to win over the other guys. But all it does is leads to worse results.
