Not sure if this qualifies but I'll mention it anyway. If you're in a situation where there's an attractive girl sitting somewhere and every other seat nearby is open, go up to her and say, "Hey can I take this seat? All the other ones are taken." - and don't smile. If you have a naturally dry sense of humor this will work. Works if you're on a bus, at the beach, etc. I got this from Ryan Gosling in Blue Valentine.

read about "the questions game" like two years ago and haven't used it much lately, but did get pretty good results from playing. you basically take turns asking each other questions, but the caveat is that nobody can repeat a question. so basically the questions quickly escalate into intimate and tawdry territory. Really good for building rapport

I have a lot of fun playing a game from Game of Thrones that Tyrion plays with a whore in Season 2. You make assumptions about the other person. If you're right, she has to drink. If you're wrong, you have to drink. You take turns. I start with "You've been skinny dipping." You can escalate sexually or make assumptions to flatter her ie. "You got a better SAT score than any of your siblings." It's also a good way to gauge how bright she is as she plays back at you.

My two favorites are Would You Rather and Marry, Fuck, Kill. WYR requires that you be creative amd I find if your ridiculous, it helps with humor. A good template for WYR is to mix and match these sorts of things:

A benefit contrasted by a deficit (Flight, but only when you sing songs you hate)

Something tedious (taxes)

Two very appealing things (million dollars or orgasms from chocolate)

Two very unappealing things (stuck in traffic or roofing a house)

Make sure to keep the topics light until you develop good report and/or contact then move into more dark or salacious areas.

Marry, Fuck, Kill is where you list three people, typically celebrities, and then decide what to do with these people given the options. This works best when you present one of three scenarios:

Every option is appealling

Every option is terrible

Every option is something against the grain (boys for straight boys, girls for straight girls, animals, fictional characters etc.)

Both of these are really fun and can work for any relationship type. Friends, romantic potentials, family. These are also great openers for Tinder or OkC. Just be sure to move on from these.

This is how I run the 5 question game. After some talking I say "You seem like a fun girl, lets play a game".

Her: "yea lets do it."

Me: "It's called the 5 question game, have you ever played before ?"

Her: "Nope, what is it ?"

Me: "Well its really simple. All I'm going to do is ask you 5 questions, and every question I ask you, you have to lie."

Her: "Oh, sounds easy."

Me: "Lets make it a little more fun though. If I win you have to do xxxx and if you win I'll doo xxxx."

Her: "hahaha okay sounds good."

Me: "First question, what colour is the sky ?"

Her: "Purple"

Me: "What colour are my eyes ?" (mine are brown)

Her: "Blue"

Me: "What colour are your shoes ?"

Her: "Orange"

Me: "Wow you've gotten further than most" [pause]. "Hold on how many questions was that ?" - Usually they get it wrong here and say 3 but some don't and that's when the ultimate question comes.

Me: "Noooo way you got that one right. Youve played this before, haven't you ?"

Her: "NOOOOOOO I've never played before."

And then you give her a little smirk and wait until she figures out she lost, or point it out. The key to this is selling it well, all about your tone and delivery. I have not once lost at this game. I have played over 100 times. It's also good to throw in some kino, get closer to her when you ask questions, whisper them into her ear, hold her lower back. I find this game helps me if I'm at some middle point where I go blank for a minute.

Me: "Hahaha, best date ever, with beautiful girl and free beer !"

Each participant takes turn to say a phrase beginning with "Never have I ever," e.g. "Never have I ever had a threesome."

Two truths one lie always works for me.

The person says 3 things about themselves, 2 of which are truths and one is a lie. The other has to guess which is a lie. Guess wrong, and the guesser drinks. Guess right, the one who told the lie drinks.

It's a great escalation game towards the end of the night.

I really like one where you and your love interest have to make questions, and then the other has to guess if it's true or not; make this with simple funny questions, and then if you see her reacting positively, you can make more serious questions, and it's a great way to know her and have fun
