i got this from another thread & i'm not sure if it's been said but i tried texting a girl this & i think it worked "some (ridiculous adjective) girl just gave me her number. i hope she understands i don't put out on the first date"

i think this works cause it jokingly shifts the frame from you pursuing her to her pursuing you

If you preface your text by telling them you'll text them naughty things and then giving them a wink, you can send a text that literally says "naughty things"

What I usually do is send "hey it's NAME, the sexy spy from CITY." When a girl asks what I do I usually tell her I'm a spy, so that's where that comes from. It's always good to relate it to something you talked about earlier.

I read on here someone said they would get the person to put their number in their phone and then say "send yourself something that would work" - as in something flirty that they would like to receive. Gives you a laugh, puts them on the spot a bit and you get to see what they find funny/flirty.

If you're looking for something that will stick in her head give her a code word. When a girl gives me her number I whisper some thing like "The code word is Monkey-Taco" then right before you leave whatever shindig you're at text that to her. She'll immediately know who it's from.

Basically it's:

"If it's loud, or I need to get out of there, I'll leave, but text her immediately with a text that says "good meeting you tonight. I'll see you soon unless [heckle]! :)" where [heckle] is some playful tease, hopefully referencing the night, like "unless you get swallowed up by your monster handbag!" (I frequently tease girls about their mammoth handbags)"

Hopefully I found out her nationality. I ask her if she can cook. If she's Italian, I ask her when she's going to make me a mean lasagna. If she's Dominican I ask when she's going to make me some mangu. etc.

I pretty much go, 1) Hey 2) Cook for me. That way I have a date set right off the bat, at either of our places. I've been using this for about a year now and it pretty much always works. Of course I veer from the script but that's my guideline.

I call in the situation you're describing and hang up once it goes through, then walk them through entering my name into their phone. It's easier / cooler since they're standing next to you.

Save your jokes for after you establish rapport in person. Sarcasm, tone, and personality don't translate well in text unless she already has a good sense of your humor and who you are.

This works after you get the number from a girl you just met...Say their name (spell it correctly!) and keep it simple, like this: "Hey, Julia Gulia. It's RyanFapfap...Save my number."

Don't write anything to try and impress her or make her laugh or remind her of how awesome you are. Don't appear to be working too hard for her attention.

I always call them right away so they can "prove" they actually have a cell phone. Usually gets a laugh.

Something that has worked for me so far is after leaving -

"Hey, it's pjewa. How do you spell your name?" maybe throw in some ridiculous examples. Even with the simplest names you can usually find a few versions - Sara/Sarah, Lindsay/Lindsey, etc.

She'll tell you and then you can be sure she saves your number. If she flirts a little or seems like she might be a real "texter" I'll keep it up, but other than that I wait a few days to text again. Depends on how the rapport with her was. I try to keep it short and sweet at the beginning but still strike while the iron is hot.
