I am new to dating after filing for divorce from my LVM ex, and was hoping to get the insight of you ladies on a recent experience. After reading all pertinent advice posts, I met a guy OLD, vetted him with a pre-date video call, and agreed to go out with him. He planned a lovely outing to a local attraction, purchased our tickets, arranged and paid for everything. On our date, without being prompted, he opened my car door, pulled out my chair at lunch, and held open doors for me the whole time. He was sweet, attentive, and over all the most refreshingly green-flag date I have ever been on. He's also by my personal standards quite good looking, and we have a lot in common so far. After walking me to my car, he gave me a quick, affectionate, but appropriate kiss.

However, I'm not sure I felt any chemistry between us. It was such a great experience that I do want to continue seeing him, but I wonder if y'all have any thoughts on this. That physical/emotional "spark" is important in dating, obviously, and I don't want to string a man on if I don't feel anything there. But I wonder if it could develop after continuing to see him? I haven't dated in a very long time, having been married/taken for a few years, and I guess I'm a little rusty on my own instincts.
