Reminds me of an exercise we had in a class I had like 6 years ago. The teacher gave us a hypothetical scenario where our plane crashed in the Arctic and we had limited supplies and no way to radio for help. We had to decide what to do to survive.

Me and like three others tried to organize things. The discussion immediately degenerated: Two of the initial "organizers" insisted that decisions had to be taken "as a group" and consulted everyone on what to do. They were voting on everything and when the vote wasn't unanimous they just argued more and more until it was just total chaos. Lasted nearly 20 minutes. Teacher was laughing her ass off the whole time.

Meanwhile, I and the other "organizer" went off on our own, ignoring the others with two or three other people. I made a list of what we had, the possible use for each, and our priorities and capacities. When the teacher stopped the exercise, the "primary group" (about 20 people) had taken about three decisions, all three of which were fucking terrible (using our only shelter to start a fire, throwing the knife away because they were scared it might be used wrong and giving all our resources away to the gravely wounded to try and keep them alive). Meanwhile, the four of us had established how to make a shelter, how to get heat, what our odds of rescue were, how to maximize them, etc.

Democracy is a piss poor system in those situations. Not everyone's opinion and experience is worthwhile.

White men invent and build everything and on average not just 1000 times more intelligent and inventive, but work a million times harder, as in everything around you and every invention of any significance. Why would you want to listen to someone who doesn't do anything or barely contributes? What would you even have to learn from someone like that? What, of any substance or importance would they even have to say? How they feel about something? Something they are not even contributing as much to because they're lazy? I can't think of anything I've ever learned from a female she wasn't reading out of a book.
