Get fit. Be assertive. Be masculine. Don't worship women. Date around. Stand up for yourself in a relationship. Make yourself attractive. Don't be afraid to end a bad relationship.

This and other advice TRP offers could be considered valuable and prudent (it's not exactly my speed, but that's beside the point), and nobody would really have much of a problem with it.

So how did it come to be that this advice got blended with anti-feminism, decrying the crumbling western society, opinions about women in the sciences, the military, and politics, and so many other controversial ideologies?

My opinion is that it is because /u/redpillschool and several proto-TRP bloggers had a political chip on their shoulder, and continue today to try and slap together a sort of PUA meets MR (I know TRP has differences with PUA and MR, that's not the point) using weak glue into the strange creature known as The Red Pill. What's yours?
