Young women receive more pay, degrees, and scholarships than men. What is society doing to correct this inequality?

OP, it's all a bit silly but here's my thoughts.

It's true that feminism for the most part is just shit, really no clue what's going on. Here's the thing though, you've just got to adapt and make your own way through the obstacles presented. Society changes and men have to adapt to prove their 'worth' (according to society), and this is the test that men for some reason are obliged to take part in.

You don't need to be a provider in the traditional sense anymore, there's more than enough security to go around, especially for all these chicks who seamlessly transition into corporate society. You don't need to make more than them because actually, the obsession with money is dwindling, people are finding now that money sure as shit isn't making them happy. Big houses, nice cars, fewer and fewer girls care anymore.

If you want to play this game you have to realise the transactional nature of the 'sexual market', and that means you have to offer something. So what do women want? Excitement, basically. It's why they seem so obsessed with travelling and shit like that. They already have enough money for security, and unless you're making some serious money then it really won't matter.

Equality doesn't need to be defined in monetary terms, so when women start wasting their lives in corporate hell because they don't know what the fuck else to do, don't feel angry or envious, just pity them, that sucks. They're left with a deficit of excitement. Most guys are squares too, but they have to deal with their own square sensibilities on their own, so most don't. Women actually look for guys who are going to drag them out of their self-imposed boring as shit lives, like a reverse manic pixie dream girl that actually exists in reality.

To a smart(ish) girl who has everything she needs and some more, she knows that the rich but boring and generally unattractive guy isn't going to bring her any kind of personal satisfaction, that existentialist cawing you know, it's not going to scratch that.

So do what you like, live free, and be unapologetic about it. That's really how to get on top. Men don't try to 'correct' society to put things in their favour, they adapt to it. Feminism is stupid and hypocritical for the most part, but it just seems to be the natural part of life, just another way to squeeze men for their worth. Trying to fight that won't benefit you because it's just a giant test.

RPers who think that women only care about money, security, good-looks etc. are a bunch of dumb fuckers. Most women just can't live without guys, they just need them because of how outrageous masculinity is. They lack excitement and passionate, unapologetic men are their way out of self-imposed misery.

This is why feminism shouldn't be fought by men, despite how it seems to totally lack self-awareness as a culture. Feminism is just a feminine thing, and fighting against it means playing their game, a game which is inherently feminine. Those RP fellas talk about shit tests and all that sort of thing, and it really is that, just on a bigger scale. They play their hand, and they expect you to play yours, they don't expect you to jump up and accuse them of cheating at the game. They want you to play your own game because that's what makes it exciting in the first place.

Money, degrees, university 'education', social status... none of that shit actually matters anyway, who gives a fuck, stop wasting your time caring about that.

Quite frankly I think men just don't care anymore. The only reason men worked so hard in the past was to take care of their families.

In the past if you knocked a girl up, you were expected to "grow up" and provide. Now most men see that the more they earn, the more child support they pay. Why try??

Feminism is a female supremacist movement. Don't ever believe these women are there for "equality".

Their form of equality is VERY different than true equality.

Equality= continue to get all the female privileges PLUS "make equal" all the advantages men have.

Often, "make equal" will be to make college over 60% female due to affirmative action/scholarships/fake rape charges.

Women know they can't so easily do the jobs that require hand and arm strength so they look to jobs that require other abilities. Women know they are going to want to take time off for kids so they are willing to compromise ultimate earning potential if they can get a good starting wage and flexibility to take time off. Women know that getting a good start is hard for other women when they have so many things to consider in order to fit in having kids too, so they help other women out by endowing the scholarships they wish they'd had. All these are things men could choose too, if they wanted to. They could choose the degree in communications over the plumbing apprenticeship, they could head themselves to a degree that paid well upfront so they could help their breadwinner spouse put a deposit on a big-ass house, they could care for the kids, they could direct donations to provide more opportunities to men in these careers that have not been so traditional for men.

My best guess would be that this is because men make up a much bigger proportion of the manual labour force. These jobs are usually undervalued and poorly paid. If you live in the UK you can thank Margaret Thatcher for screwing it up for working class men who want to be breadwinners by removing unions and the mining industry. Academia is also now rewarded far more than anything else.

My understanding is that in the US, male applicants largely do not need to get scores as high as female applicants to get in to college due to gender balancing in admissions. That's basically affirmative action.

The way the workplace and parenting works women really need to be getting ahead early because when they have kids they inevitably will lose ground to the menfolk and for the most part the gap kills their career progression.

The average difference is about £100 a month($150ish) and I don't think the figures include the unemployed, where I can imagine you will find plenty of women still choosing to be stay at homers, point being women aren't as likely to need a job in the first place, so will be less likely to take on the lowest paying work

As for college degrees you need to ignore degrees in useless subjects

The scholarships maybe warrant some evaluation though

Kind of because women in their 20s are more likely to have a degree while men don't. Jobs with degrees tend to pay more. Mostly because women perform better at schools. I suggest you encourage young boys to put education before play. Men aren't being discouraged from going to University, they are being discouraged from learning the skills that get them there.

In two degrees, not one extra judicial rape tribunal has been seen. In fact considering that 1 in 5 College women have ended up black out drunk and woken up in an unknown area with signs of sexual intercourse when they clearly didn't give consent is rather problematic. If we COULD prosecute every single rape, I am afraid a lot of young men would be in prison.

But it's okay, we are trying to reduce rape not by harming young men but by teaching them about consent and the value of it. Except for you guys who don't think consent is all that important and like those grey areas to operate in.

You sound like someone who has never been to university.
