So, recently there was quite the thread that caused a bit of controversy.

Probably one of the most horrific threads ever made on PPD, and it had me thinking of a lot of things but I'll try to keep it brief to this particular one.

What is the point of labelling someone an "Endorsed Contributor"? How are they decided? Who decides them? The reason I ask is that thread kind of exposed The Red Pill as being pretty horrific. People who were red pill were horrified by the thread and the idea behind it. Now, one can say, well, that's just one person saying it, which is true. But, what throws a monkey wrench into the whole "well, it's just this one person" does seem to be the "Endorsed Contributor" label. I can understand and even sympathize with guys in the "anger phase", but when you're an "Endorsed Contributor", it's almost like your opinions are generally agreed upon by the red pill as a whole, and thus, defending rapists = red pill.

And I guess the final question is, is it smart for TRP to have "endorsed contributors"? When one of them says something insane, it seems to reflect on TRP as a whole. It's potentially a good thing for people who think TRP is pretty fucked because it kind of exposes people to the horrors of TRP, similar to how an religious person might become an atheist after hearing horrific stuff from their religion and want to look at it with a more critical eye.

Also, big ups to /u/wuboo for making sure to grab that before it got removed. It's fucked but it's something that needs to be seen to be believed.
