Less than one month ago, I asked the ladies on this subreddit for advice on men and drug abuse: here The response was predictable: leave him. You can't implement RP principles when someone is in active addiction. I never broke up with him, but I did start to spend a lot of time away from him and hyper-focusing on self-improvement (fitness, beauty, patience). He recently lost his battle with addiction and died from a heroin overdose in our home.

Aside from my sob story (I'd rather not delve into details on that portion of my life), this goal remains the same: I want to build a beautiful family.

I am 21 years old and I just lost someone who I planned to marry and reproduce with. I am doing everything I possibly can to continue taking care of my physical and mental health. For example: I started bereavement therapy, I exercise along with eating nutritiously, and I accepted a decent job offer to keep my mind busy.

I never had issues with attracting men or holding a relationship. However, I fear that this "baggage" has ruined my chances at the future I dreamed of. Help.
