So I've been going to meetups for the past year, trying to improve my social skills and calibrating myself. Overall a really insightful experience and have had a lot of interest from women and even met a few cool dudes. I have also came across a few guys who try to put me down in front of women, and experiencing that was also very insightful.

Over 6 months ago, I went to a meetup and was talking to some girls and guys and made joke about having an orgy and they all laughed and enjoyed the humor and it was clear I'm being facetious. I tried to bring in another girl I spoke to earlier and she says something along the lines of that's inappropriate or that she's unconfortable and I say it's just joke, back away from her and think that the end of it. I go the meetup a few more times and see her around but stay well the fuck away. Now today, I go again to this meetup, over 6 months later and some shit happens. Everyones sat at tables and there isn't any free chairs apart fro next to the organiser dude, I sit next to him and talk to him and try to have a friendly chat, and immediately he pulls his phone out and gets me to register my attendance, ask him why and he says he needs to sign people in so they can track who's attended and remove people if they harass, and he gives me some vague warning not to harass anyone. Not sure what that was about, but the meetup seemed dead and I was ready to leave.

I was on my way out and saw this dude I saw at a few other meetup groups and said hi, and the first thing out of his mouth was "You're the orgy guy. You asked my friend if she likes orgies." I'm just confused and shocked, tell him I don't know what he's talking about. He goes to the girl and points me out to her and comes back to me and says "You are. You should not be here. Oh so it's your word against hers."

I've seen this dude at many meetups, he's really ugly, spam approaches and is short and bald, almost the opposite of me. He's probably saw felt a bit jealous as he's noticed I get attention from women and make him look like a toilet at a brothel. This scrub obviously thought he could kill two birds with one stone trying to initimidate and threaten me, eliminate competition and white knight.

What do you even do in this situation? Someone accuses you something and immediately you're to be burned at the stake? No matter how well you can use reason, you're still a witch, in fact, doing that probably makes you even more of one.

The whole thing is very weird. Over half a year later this girl makes a fuss about someone who at worst made a bad joke and left them alone immediately and suddenly some ugly white knight confronts me about it. I already had no plan to go to that meetup again, so no problem there, but I see this dude at other meetups I go to. What's this dude's plan? Complain and talk shit about me at other meetups? Is there anything I can do?
