Great line. One dumb assumption is that women aren't as sexual as men. They are and most minimally attractive women are banging someone and most of the ones who aren't want to. Is it irrational confidence to believe if they're banging someone it might as well be you?

Another dumb assumption is that modern, "sex positive" women are more overt about signalling sexual desire. Some are, but most women still prefer for men to make the first move and will assume that you aren't interested if you don't make a move.
