Not only that, if she does that with you, she does it with everyone. You are playing Russian Roulette with your health if not your life. No piece of ass is worth that. IMO risking your health for pussy is the ultimate pedestal.

You've basically framed this in terms of market forces. Bravo - more of this needs to be done here because understanding that market forces govern everything is central realizing why people make the decisions they do.

By the same token, it seems the harder you work, the luckier you get.

A lifetime of experience has taught me that optimism is one of the three pillars of success, with the other two being tenacity and discipline.

Relationships are all the same - they exist as long as market forces allow them to exist. As soon as better options are available for any investment you make - be it money, time, status, whatever, then those options are typically exercised. Trust me, this RP stuff, in fact ALL human interactions, are much easier understood when you view them in a market based context. Do that, and the answers become beyond obvious.

I can say without fear of contradiction that discipline and tenacity are WAY more predictive of high income than intelligence. Intelligence makes it easier, but it is neither a necessary nor sufficient condition.

TRP at its core is an exercise in understanding market forces. This post is another example of that.

Sorry, don't agree on the money thing at all, and if Im being completely honest the only people I hear talk like this are people without money. Further, if you have $5 in your pocket, you will never, ever have the confidence of the same guy with $5 million. Its like saying Im a fat fuck but I'll act like Im jacked and no one will notice. You cannot fake out people over the long run, and being poor while acting rich gets you a reputation of being a jackass, and in this life reputation is everythi…

Our debt to GDP ratio now is over 106. History shows that once you get over 100, bad things start happening to your economy. Trump may stave off the inevitable through growth, but ultimately we will never grow fast enough to compensate for the blue entitlement vote buying enslavement programs of our all beneficial elected officials. Im a big believer in avoiding conflicts of interest. As much as the framers tried to separate powers, they failed. We still have the same guys taxing who are the sam…

Never mind looking 24/7 at physical proof of your sweet little angel spreading her legs for another cock, but you also get the parting gift of spending around a quarter of a million dollars to raise the demon spawn from cradle to 18. Then, if your Daddy Betabucks, you get to pay for college as well.

The decline of the nuclear family/marriage has gone almost in lock step with the government subsidizing single parenthood. The commensurate shackling of men assures someone else bears at least some of the cost. IMO its all planned. Cracked family ensures dependency on the government. Betazation of men allow for a much more easily fleeced specimen.

Absolutely. Signed - Adolf Hitler, Josef Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, Pol Pot, etc, etc, etc. The willingness of people to turn power over to the government never ceases to amaze me, especially on this board.

Since their partnership breakup a while back, Ive only actually seen him once, and he looked like he aged 20 years in 5. Jet black hair was now all grey, etc. My brother does, however, have a common friend that still talks to both of them. Told him within the last year about how much the kid looks like the ex. Like Ive said, at the time he otherwise seemed to have his shit together. I know a decent number of guys like this. Hell, my cousin is one of them. Great job, nice house, high social value…

For any friend considering marrying/LTR a woman with kids, my advice has always been the same. Take the number of kids. Add one. Thats where you sit in her priorities. Take the number of kids. Take their proportionate ages till 18 and multiply by $250k for each kid. Thats the bill your signing up for, and that doesnt even include college. This one guy (friend of my brother) actually married a chick with four kids, even after my advice. It really gets better though. About a year into the marriage…

I know the consensus recommendation around here is to major in a STEM field, and I agree, but if you want to really learn how to think critically, may I suggest picking up a minor in philosophy. I know of no other major that teaches one to think logically and critically so quickly. I majored in physics and organically picked up a philosophy degree along the way. Thirty years later, I still find myself using the critical thinking skills I developed while taking it in college.

This touches on a concept Ive been thinking about recently. Ive read here that the consensus is on the average men need sex more than women. While I do agree with this on "the average," I don't agree with it on a more granular level. Yes, on any given night, taking a random guy with a random girl, the guy will want sex more than the girl. That said, this average is a product of the alpha/beta 20/80 rule. Women do not want sex with beta's. That is captured by Rollo's transactional description abo…

But if we choose to stop for a second and look at this process - we discover that the amount of actual pleasure and happiness we are getting from this blind process is much smaller then all the suffering/pain/stress that this is causing us. This is the reward schedule for anything that provides short term reward. Most negative things in life have a short term reward schedule. You chase after a relationship and you'll find it harder to have sex. Chase after sex only and you'll be swatting off relationships like wasps during the spring. One of the reasons I come here is to find the daily gem. This, to me, is today's.
/r/TheRedPill05/03/18 03:00 PM
23

For the 1000th time here, the answer for almost every transactional question is always the market, the market, the market. Poor men don't like rich men. Ugly women hate good looking women. Why? Because values in the market are always relative, and someone exhibiting value far above you shows you are that much further down in the pecking order. No one likes that, so they hate the people representing it. That simple.

This is not rocket science guys. Women who let you raw dog them have let at least a football team raw dog them before you. By probabilities, those guys doing it are raw dogging 50 other chicks like that before raw dogging her. Lets cut to the chase - you raw dog chicks in casual sex (and even not in casual sex) and you are going to get an STD. Compounding probabilities yields it truly is only a matter of time, no matter how good you think your vetting process is. Some of those bugs you will catc…

Good point here. Ive said this from a lifetime of experience many times here - physical fitness is extremely important, and the time investment for the SMV buck is generally has no equal, there are other equally important things in life. I am approaching 50. After a lifetime of lifting, I look at it now as taking a shower or brushing my teeth. Something I need to do (just about) every day, but nothing to obsess over. Actually, I think this post supports a fallacy that is sometimes promoted here. The goal is not to be Mr Apex Supra Alpha Chad. The goal is to be the best you that you can be and have the best possible life you can have. That involves excelling at many facets of your life, not giving up on all of them for a single one.

Don't agree that "family first" is reinforced by our laws. It is clear that our political system does not want strong families headed by strong men, ergo, look at what has happened to the nuclear family since the 60s. What politicians want is people dependent upon government for their existence. That keeps them in power and the masses controlled. That said, if the gov't can destroy the family unit and pass the bill onto some poor guy, then all the better.

My workouts are four or five times a week, and almost always less than 45 min. I have been down the heavy road in my late 20s. Upbringing does not change market forces. It changes how one reacts to them.
/r/TheRedPill01/12/17 01:41 PM

Agree completely. Im 49, and the single gold-standard iron-clad principle Ive distilled about women is if a girl has anything other than the best of relationships with her father, do not invest any assets into her whatsoever. In all of those years, its a perfect two way correlation. Ive never met a worthy LTR who had a bad relationship with her father. Not a single time. Conversely, every LTR worthy girl had a very strong relationship with her typically strong father.

Ive posted elsewhere, my father for the most part sucked. We only started even getting along until I was well into my late 20s. Right, after I didn't really need him anymore, he wanted to start forming a relationship. Sorry pop, a bit too late for that. Now as I approach 50 and he just turned 84, he's still trying, but my patience with him is still pretty low. I go back and forth in trying to forgive him, but not for him, for me. I was dying for a good relationship with my father as well. Unfortunately, his life for the most part revolved around his own entertainment. He's in his mid 80s right now and is trying to make up for much time lost, but for some things, too late is too late. Conversely, at age 49 I look at what Ive achieved in my life with a shitty father and it gives me a sense of pride rather than regret. I can't control his actions, only my own, and I killed it in spite of him.

Its really simple. Like everything, it comes down to market forces. If you are a SMV 5 and your man is a SMV 9, you can expect him to cheat because he will have constant sexual access to SMV 7+ women. If a woman is SMV 8 and her man is SMV 7, you can expect the converse. Typically a woman wants a relationship rather than just sex, so one will typically follow the other when she finds a man with a higher SMV than her current man. This is why the most stable relationships are where the man has a S…

My friend - you are just getting started. I just turned 49 and I still believe my best days are ahead of me. I have no idea where the male wall exists, but I dont think Ive hit it yet. The key with this, as with anything, is discipline. When people guess my age, they consistently say 33-36. Yes, I have good genetics, but a good part of that is living right, eating right, and exercising/gym. No, my post is based on market based realities. Generally speaking, people will make decisions that maximize their utility. Ergo, it makes no sense for a woman to risk losing a higher value man by offering herself to a lower value one. Of course, like any market there are likely localized inefficiencies, so we are talking general tendencies here rather than global certainties. I do agree that SMV, and any value add for that matter, is not monolithic and unchangeable over time. What I do not agre…

You have show a bright light on the problem you hare having. You believe, like most feminists, that 50 years of feminism or perhaps even 2000 years of civilization trumps 10,000+ years of evolution. Its nice to think that, but it doesn't, and that in fact, is the core of RP thinking. We do a nice civilization dance because it has certain benefits for us, but at our core, we always revert back to our evolutionary drives, especially when it comes to something as primal as reproduction. As far as y…

True, but nothing I have stating in my original post implies that a woman must cheat. In fact, its my contention that if you stay the highest SMV male a woman has access to she will be loyal to you indefinitely. Not necessarily directed at you, but I really dont know why so many are having trouble with this. Its scary how many don't understand simple market forces, and I really believe this is a core, and perhaps THE core problem, of society.
/r/TheRedPill14/05/17 01:18 PM

Ok. Exert some control over your core desires and dont eat, drink, or have sex for the next month and let me know how that works out for you.
/r/TheRedPill14/05/17 01:15 PM

Take away power, food, or water for just three days and talk to me about how people "reason," and dont act on their "primal drives." Reproduction may be the most primal drive we have, and like it or not that is going to be governed by our evolution.
/r/TheRedPill14/05/17 01:14 PM
2

Absolutely. IMO, whenever humans start to think they are smarter than evolution/market forces is when we get ourselves into trouble, and that goes for any market. The sad part of this case is that its probably the case that feminism has damaged women far more than men.
/r/TheRedPill14/05/17 01:10 PM

No its not. But being pissed at a woman for acting on them does mean you are still in the anger phase. Again, this is a metaphysical argument, not a moral one.
/r/TheRedPill14/05/17 01:08 PM

I think a problem some have with accepting AWALT is looking at it as a moral rather than a scientific fact. Getting pissed at a woman for acting on her evolutionary drives is no different than getting pissed at a peacock for mating with the male with the brightest feathers. Women select mates in the way they do because natural selection has dictated that this is the best way to promote the species. Nothing more, nothing less. This is why sexual strategy is amoral. Its about survival of the fitte…

I agree with this. Just last week at the gym I noticed a post wall but still HB7-8 looking at me - over and over. It was raining out, and all of a sudden I see her go over to the window and let her hair down. Next thing I know, she's standing next to me looking up at me and says "Nice shirt!" I was wearing a t-shirt that said "Bigly" on it as a Trump reference, but she was clearly just using it for an ice breaker.

I'm torn on this one. On the surface there is some evidence for what you say, but if it was 100% true there would be in fact no such thing as an Alpha Widow. Perhaps right after the moment this applies, but shortly after when she's communing with her tingles or talking to her girlfriends, she knows damn well who has given it to her the best, and like a crack head that is the rush she seeks to eclipse the rest of her life.

LOL. Straight. It got to the point where I almost literally laughed out loud when I heard it. To add to the point of "that was the best sex I've ever had," I think at the moment they may actually believe that. I mean, the worst orgasm is still pretty fucking great - at that moment you could actually convince yourself of that. The real test is when she hasn't had sex in a month and she's sitting there talking to her other harpies about it. Then the truth of who's "the best" comes out.

"That was the best sex I've ever had". Not saying your overall point isn't valid, but don't put that much stock in this statement. Almost every woman I've ever banged has told me that, and I'm 48. I think this one gets filed right along side of, "I've never done this before."

Black culture is overwhelmingly portrayed as "cool" by the media and Hollywood. This is why you get white suburban male teens acting like black men. Fortunately, most of them have grown out of it by the time they hit college. Imperialism/colonialism has thousands of years of history. I myself have wondered a bit about the "white guy" preference of many races of women. Im guessing here, but the first thing that comes to my head is imperialism. While there are exceptions, for the most part any time a group of white guys came into conflict with a group of guys from another race, the white guys conquered and took what they wanted. I think you're barking up the wrong tree. IMO, all other things being equal different races are attracted to each other because of genetic reasons. TRP suggests that women fuck Alpha men to get the fittest seed to produce the best and most healthy offspring. You can extrapolate this to races when you consider most genetic diseases are recessive. That means mating with a person with a very different genetic profile than you will result in a lower probability of a genetic disease being passed on. …

I've lost count how many times I've suggested this here. I've actually grown tired of trying to convince guys here that its infinitely better to be in the top 5% of wealth than it is the top 5% of looks. With the former you have control over every facet of your life. With the latter you have control over just one. Im in my late 40s now. I've went through stages of my life when I had one or the other, and both and neither. I can say without fear of contradiction that having high wealth is leagues…

Haha. Like most things in life, the loudest words are actions. Guys who really have a lot of money don't usually have need to talk about it. Similarly, guys with tremendous success with high value women typically don't have to talk about it.

For the 10,000th time here - the primary message here is not to improve yourself so you can get back at/win over women. Nor is it merely to accumulate a high notch count. Its to be the very best that you can be. Do that, and all of these other consequences take care of themselves.

It was. It was a wealthy couple who was looking for a donor with certain qualities, in my case quantitative/scientific ability so they looked to the physics department of the university I was attending, as well as a few others. It ended up being between me and another guy. The biggest negative I had was I didn't have 20/20 vision without glasses. My understanding was the biggest negative the other guy had was he was 5'7". I would only agree with your last sentence if he turned out to be much different than what he promised during the campaign. Back in college, I almost did just that for money. Being a poor college student, the payoff was substantial - $10k and that was in 1992. At the end of the day, I decided against it. I dont regret that decision for a moment.

Tangentially related, it made me crack up to see how much Pelosi wants to fuck Trump. She tows the party line, but then when she's in his presence, she turns into a fucking 16 year old school girl. Well, not trying to get too far off point, but IMO the real message of this site is to be the best you that you can. With that, if you view Trump from both the public and private lenses, it could be argued that he is the most successful man in history. From the public lens, he was elected POTUS without ever holding a political office, had almost all the media against him, and when he first announced almost no one gave him a chance. For the "womens march," pro-life women were deemed not welcome. Ergo, the agenda wasnt anti-Trump or pro-women, it was feminism. Of course there are leftists against Trump from every angle, but make no mistake that the spearhead is feminists and their agenda.

Three things Ive noticed regarding these marches - A good part of the reason feminists are so angry is because they are so ugly. Women by almost any metric are more unhappy than ever. At this point, I don't even think they know why they are protesting. Just watch the "marches." I don't see a march, I see a…

I've lost count how many times Ive written this here. If you think the core message of TRP is getting laid you are missing it. TRP is about being the best you possible. Its about taking control of your own life. Its about owning your own destiny. Its about discipline. Its about maximizing your value to the market - all markets. Do that, and getting a useless piece of ass to sleep with you will be the least of your problems. Don't confuse the goal with the side effect.

Yes, yes, and yes. Its all your fault. Im going to be blunt - by citing the examples you just did you are still in a losers mindset. Once you take responsibility for everything that happens to you, you are saying you have control over you own life. Look for excuses and others to blame, and you then have an avenue of least resistance for failure because you can then blame someone or something else for the failure other than yourself.
/r/TheRedPill15/01/17 07:37 PM
15

This. If you still want to blame women for your lack of success with them you are still in the anger phase. Anything that happens to you in your life, bad or good, is 100% on you. You have a shitty job? Your fault. Fat fuck? Your fault. Can't get a decent looking woman to sleep with you? Your fault. TRP isn't about making women suffer for the behavior you allow. Its about being the best you. One needs to fully exit the anger phase to fully appreciate this.

As usual, Im going to be blunt. Don't expect someone to take the time to explain market forces to you when you cannot even take the time to ask your question without countless grammatical mistakes in one single sentence. If you don't give a shit about how you represent yourself, don't expect much from those you are representing to.

Well, if there was no scarcity, that would mean either supply is unlimited or there is no demand. Either case it would imply that price = 0.
/r/TheRedPill15/01/17 01:33 AM

Once more - the market, the market, the market. The market doesn't care about your excuses, it cares about what value you bring to the table. Want more back from the market? Bring more value. This goes for any place there is scarcity and supply and demand. Business, money, sex, etc, etc. All of the answers you seek are determined by the market, the market, the market.

The moment I read that you are 32 and he is 25, I stopped reading. This is going to be sharp, but the chances of an alpha male staying in a LTR with a woman significantly older than him are remote at best. Look at it this way, in eight years, you'll be 40. He'll be 33. If he's really an alpha and has his shit together, that means he'll be in the market for the best females in the 22-28 age bracket. You may be a fit 40 year old, but generally won't be able to compete with whats available to him. …

For one, I doubt Rollo makes any serious money off of this shit. For two, I have never read anything from Rollo saying you should never get married. I suppose it could exist, but it would be a pretty incriminating thing for him to say. As far as risk/reward, I agree, and everyone needs to do their own analysis and decide on what they want to do, whether its just dive in (foolish in most cases), risk mitigation (possible with a high degree of diligence), or just run (the safe play for most guys.)

Feminism has gotten almost exactly what it has asked for. The result? Single parent families are becoming the norm, the nuclear family has been almost completely dismantled, and by almost any metric women in general are more unhappy than ever. Not entirely true. For example, you can have a prenup protect your entire stake in a business. If that stake multiplies in value, its still protected. Ergo - its not the value that was protected by the prenup, it was the stake. Its all how its worded. The money you spend on a good lawyer to draft it is money is cheap in comparison.

Have done most of these at some point in my life. The only thing I'll add is the hi-protein low-carb (CarbNite by the OP) works wonders for shedding fat, but as the OP correctly states you're burning fat/ketones rather than carbs. Hence, the energy is going to be far less efficiently available. That practically means you're going to be tired as shit. Stick with it for two weeks though and you'll see some serious results.

Just like there is always a woman any man would cheat for. I for one am quite surprised how often this is parroted around here. To me, its self-evident. Just basic market forces at work. I say this all the time, you can never get around market forces. No matter what you do, no matter how hard you try, because the market is US. What much of the angry phase crowd is completely missing is that publicized actions like this work against us, not for us. In your 20s and 30s, it definitely becomes a lifestyle. Becomes a very "work hard, play hard" environment. I know this will sound crazy to those unfamiliar with the life, but on the Street working long hours is an ego thing - almost a badge of honor. Well, kudos to you for recognizing and admitting your issue. As you have found, it is very easy to attract a man for short term sex, and very difficult to attract a man for long term commitment. The kicker here is the more you do of the first, the harder the second will be. Men will sleep with a woman far below their SMV - they will not do so with commitment. With that, as your n-count increases, especially n-count achieved though uncommitted relationships, your SMV will typically decrease. You …

Yeah, need to counterbalance corporate executives with non-market forces. Now if we could only do that with Chad's as well every beta could get laid and just keep eating ice cream and playing video games. Seriously, comments on this board like this make me crack up because of their contradictory ignorance. Sorry, but I dont agree at all. By the 70s, unions had become a conduit to force companies to pay higher than market rates for shitty labor. We used to make good cars. By the 70s they were shit, and the cost and quality of labor was a big part of that. We used to make steel in this country, until excessive union induced labor costs forced mill closures. Even first hand, back when I was in high school I worked with my brother who owned his own electrical business. As soon as you would open a pane…

Agree with everything you've said save the last sentence. Given whats at stake, a person absolutely has every right to know whatever they want about a persons past during the vetting process, and the other side of the equation has a moral responsibility to answer honestly. All that said, the elephant in the room is if a woman is having a tough time entering a LTR, raising her n-count is not typically going to help further that end.

The whole "damaged" thing is not helpful. That said, to ride roughshod over the fact that many men, esp high SMV men, place a premium on low n-counts isnt doing anyone here any favors. It may be an inconvenient fact to some, but its a fact nonetheless. At the end of the day, is not finding exactly what attracts high SMV partners at the very core of RP thinking?

Women generally dont care about n-count. Thats one reason they have so much trouble understanding why men do. I have only asked a few women their n-count as well. Ive only done that for the rare few women who passed the smell test on many levels and needed to confirm my hypotheses prior to committing my time and resources to them. That said, Ive only needed to ask a few. Most in one way or another wear it on their sleeve in a relatively tight confidence interval, whether they realize it or not. …

Why anyone would commit their lifetime resources to a single individual based on incomplete information about something so obviously important and potentially indicative is absolutely beyond me. Its not overemphasized - if a man wants to know he has every right to know before committing his resources to a woman. Its his right to place whatever emphasis he wants on it in making his decision on who to be with long term. What I do think is overemphasized, however, is the whole "context" notion. The 3n cheater vs the 10n monogamist typically only exists in thought experiments. The same thing for the "low self esteem" BS. (Given the prevalence of this hamstering, I'll hold my breath until th…

If you dont think there is any difference between men meeting women for sex and women meeting men for sex then you are completely missing a foundation of RP thinking. Men and woman are NOT the same. We are VERY different. As you read everywhere here, men hold commitment, women hold sex. Playing those cards freely devalues the SMV of either. Just the way it is.

You dont hear about it because most men will not give that as their reason for bailing. They'll just bail. Trust me, high value men will often bail when a high n-count is confirmed or suspected.

It, again, comes down to delaying short term gratification (pleasure) for long term benefit (happiness.) The key to that is discipline. Almost everything bad for you has a short term reward structure - drugs, video games, food, etc. Almost everything worth having has a long term reward structure - money, education, good body, etc. It takes a lot of discipline to continuously choose the latter, but if you do your life will turn out better than your wildest dreams.

Hmmm. Say you both have 150 IQs. Depending upon what scale you use, that means you each have an IQ that occurs only in one out of every 1,125 people. Although I understand its not a completely random scenario, assuming random trials the chances that BOTH you and your boyfriend have such IQs is one chance in 1,265,625. Induction from the exception is not sound logic. Women overwhelmingly lie about their number. Its been confirmed in almost every credible study ever done about the subject. If its any consolation though, men also lie, but they do it in the other direction. Again, dont know you or your boyfriend, but n-count has an inverse effect on a woman's SMV. Speaking as a RP man, my empirical data shows this is quite false. The only guys who dont ask (and feign dont care) are those without other options. Look at it another way - if it didnt matter - then why do women consistently lie about the number so much? Its a very visceral thing for both sexes because of our evolution, which is exactly what RP thinking is based in.

Money in itself adds to your sexual opportunities in two ways. The first is she sees your money as hers and will do what she has to gain access to it. How you react to this determines if you are BB or not. (No issues at all with using the specter of your resources to get her into the sack, as long as you dont actually expend any on her.) This is sage advice ignored my many. The only debt to take on is one of two types - 1 - Leverage - where the return on the money you borrowed is greater than your cost of funds. Eg - business loan, mortgage (typically), student loan for a money generating major at a money generating school. (Eg - STEM at a top engineering school, MBA/law degree at an Ivy.) 2 - Debt at a rate lower than inflation. This actually gives you a net positive real return. This is most common with auto loans. There was a thread here a little while ago about a story where a guy banged a top-end call girl. His report was that she was amazing looking, an amazing date, and the sex was unreal. The cost IIRC was about $2500. So, the best piece of ass on the planet is worth about $2,500. Well the best car is probably around $300,000. An average car about $30,000. The best house about $50,000,000. An average house about $500,000. That's a multiple of 10-100 in each case. Using analogy, an average piece of as…

There was this chick who would show up every Saturday and bang my friend in her car out in the parking lot, week after week. It saddens me to see what has happened to the Nordic countries. They used to be the conquerors of Europe (Vikings) and have made disproportionately large contributions to science, mathematics, and music. Amen. Let the market decide who you hire. If you end up hiring people who are substandard because of some racial/sex bias, then the market will punish you through sub-par performance. Almost all economic problems come from people (read - politicians) thinking they are smarter and know better than the market. They dont, and tinkering with the beautiful free market mechanism almost always fucks something up.

Dating apps increase the size of the marketplace. Whenever you increase the size of the marketplace, the top feeders do nominally better. For max womens age, I would strongly suggest not being more than a year two older (at most) than the guy your with. I say this because of the results the above formula yields. Eg, say you are 42, and your man is 40. If he has a high SMV, that means he is in the market for a woman who is 27. (.5*40 + 7). At 42, are you comfortable competing for him with a 27 year old? Yes, if your are completely buff from a year of hard gym work and still dont approach, you arent going to bed many more women. However, approaching when you are completely buff is leagues easier than if your are chubby, and the results will self-reinforce themselves. Its war. Just like TRP, this is easy shit to understand once you understand everything is the market - everything. Figuring out what to do in life is simple - all you need to do is ask the market. This is a natural by product of increased interconnectivity with an increasing population. Bigger markets means people taking the top percentages will usually be taking a higher nominal amount. No. Much better advice is to rush into marriage with any Tom, Dick, or Harry because you're on some random time table to check off boxes in your life. Stop using men as a tool to complete your checklist of marriage, children, grandchildren, etc, etc. That is a formula for failure. You get married because its the right fit for both people, not because you need to keep up with your friends/sister-in-laws.
/r/RedPillWomen16/08/16 03:37 AM

I dont place an age or time frame on it. I concluded early on that I wouldn't get married until I was 100% ready and it was with 100% the right person. Given what I believe my SMV was, I had a rather long list of "must haves," and at age 44 I married who I believe was the right person. I dont regret a single moment of waiting. Who you marry is by far the biggest decision you will ever make regarding your own happiness. It should receive commensurate consideration.

(Even without the money, she still asked Chad for a relationship.) This is why woman have a dualistic mating strategy. They want Chads genes and Jeffs money in one guy, and for that guy to commit to her. Since that is so rare, they have to split up their demands among two or more guys.

This is true. Saving money for retirement, you can either defer the tax and earn money on the tax exempt portion, only to pay it later (401k), or pay the tax now and have the gains be tax free later. (Variable life). Its really balancing the FV of the gains on the current tax vs what tax rates will be when you divest. Given the current state of our budget, my current thought is taxes are going to be on a rocket ride for the next few decades, all the way to bankruptcy, especially for the "rich."

So true. It has nothing to do if Jeff is rich or poor. Same result. Only difference is if he is rich enough, Jeff can fly his jet to South Beach tonight and down his sorrows by being double teamed by his private pool by two Latin hotties. Few things cannot be solved by money if you have the correct mindset to go along with it.

This is interesting. I for one see schools reinforcing one of two things - either creativity or discipline. IMO, we dont have a creativity problem in this country, we have a discipline problem. IMO "creativity" has become blue speak for "do whatever you want whenever you want," which is the very antithesis of discipline. Since I believe self-discipline is the very key to everything else in life worth attaining, its destruction is the foundation of the left to destroy the family unit (creating go…

Sorry, but as I have stated elsewhere, that is blue pill thinking. Stop putting pussy on a pedestal above everything else, especially money and success. I have found the complete opposite in regards to #3. You're still losing me. As technology advances and the commensurate access to energy per person increases, access to the basics required for life becomes easier, not more difficult. In fact, this can be said for total utility in general. When utility is easier to obtain, this has the effect of reducing, not increasing, competition. In fact, the very prevalence of betas in our current society is testament to the lack of recent natural selection that arises from competition for scarce resources.

The number of chances I give is contingent upon the level of transgression and the environment in which it takes place. A friend gets drunk and acts foolishly in front of women at bars and is a general embarrassment - probably three chances. A LTR flirts openly with another man - zero chances.

The mistake many are making here in interpreting the OPs post is ordaining pussy as the final and ultimate goal of TRP and being alpha. If you put pussy as your ultimate goal, you are at your core still blue as shit because you are de facto placing it on a pedestal by giving it such an exalted importance in your life. Remember - in this life the ONLY person you have to prove shit to is yourself. Be your own worst (and only) critic. Set your goals high, and be disappointed in yourself if you dont reach them. Our backgrounds are very similar - I was relatively poor as a child and also worked for an investment bank later in life. One of the keys in moving from beta to alpha was only measuring myself by my own very stringent metrics.

I get the White Knight message here, but Id be a bit more impressed if the size of the participants were reversed. I mean, what's the real story in three 6-5 guys being able to intimidate a short/slight beta? And for the record, whenever I hear a guy in a bar talk like your friend John did during that altercation, the guy almost always turns out to be a bitch. The toughest guys I've ever thrown down with almost always said the least.

If I hear one more woman hamster all of their bad decisions on the poor "self esteem" ... You have bad self esteem? Then work fucking harder at your job. Then get your fat ass to the gym. Then take up a hobby that doesnt involve facebook or the internet. If you have bad self esteem, its no ones fault other that your own, and taking a random man's cock in you or having a child with an absentee dad is probably not going to make it better ...

I do see what you're saying, but IMO that's only showing one side of the coin. You could just as easily show all of the benefits and advances that agriculture has lead to. I agree truth ==> RP, but truth is telling the full story, not just one side. There is seldom a radical advance in civilization that doesn't bring along with it some negatives, but net net the good typically far outweighs the bad. Read the essay. Think its pure BP shit. What I got from that is - "lets remove all of civilizations advances so we can go back where everyone is equally poor." Similarly, I could replace "agriculture" in that essay with "increasing use of energy" and come to the same exact conclusions over a longer period of time. As civilization advances, there will be winners and losers, and the winners at the top will be increasingly wealthy. Totally fine with that. If we need wars/violence to weed out the le…

Hard to do without some capital. No one is going to give you money to start a business without you putting up a bunch yourself. Me, because of the money I made from my former jobs coupled with financial discipline I had enough in reserve. I put a bunch of it on the pass line, and made the point. The point really is though, whether the money you use is borrowed or saved, it makes no difference in the work you need to put in to be successful.

Great analysis. If a women needs a second chance, she never feared losing you or respected you in the first place. There is no shades of gray with this. Any women who've you committed any resources to at all must be ghosted the minute you believe she has transgressed in any way. Managing your women is just like managing your company. Give second chances, and you are inviting a mutiny among the crew because you are showing weakness. Rule with an iron hand, and expect respect.

The drinks are expensive, and if you try to just sit there sip one drink an hour and not pay the girls, they usher you out. Unfortunately, money and capital markets were not developed enough for them to realize the most important powers to separate were those regarding the money. We will pay for that mistake with economic coll…

If you know both corporate law and marital law, this is false. Actually, your assets are way safer in a business than they are almost any way else. I am married, and I have structured it in such a way that my wife has absolutely no claim on any of my businesses under any circumstances. I do understand the surging tide around here not to get married. I also understand the legal framework in this country is slanted against men. With that, if you are savvy enough, you can protect your assets with a…

My wife is Colombian, and we've had this same conversation. In Colombia, its common to have relatives in the US send money to family members back home. She feels the same guilt because she's here now. Truth be told, this is how charity and family should be working and not the fucking government stealing from workers to destroy the family unit, but I digress. In short, the answer to her was a stern but simple "no." I told her when I was making my way, I didn't ask for a single thing from anyone f…

Nope - said Patton was. But your assertion about the military does further confirm your beta-left status. Further confirms everything I know about you already. Look - Ill make this simple for you. Interesting post. Recently, I have given a lot of thought to distilling down the most fundamental factors that are necessary conditions in being successful. Before I even start, one that we can immediately cross off the list is brains. Brains makes being successful easier, but it is nowhere near a necessary condition, and in some cases could be a negative one because so many people believe it is a sufficient condition. Its not. I took some time to study the successful people I knew and find some…

Good post. Have heard about the sword/buttons evolution, but never heard about the gas masks. If I could interject another, I have heard that the tie originated from bright neck cloths worn by Croatian mercenaries/special forces hired by a French king in the 1600s. He liked the look so much he promoted it himself. Given the military basis of mens haberdashery, this is yet another reason Im saddened about the constant decline of mens dress in this country. It was just one of those unspoken things that everyone in front office positions followed. Dont know the genesis behind it, but probably stemmed from portraying an ultra-clean cut image. There were a few of these flying around. Another was you never wear a short sleeve dress shirt. Ever. You can roll up the sleeves on your long sleeve dress shirt (common), but never wear a short sleeve shirt, even if its 110 outside. I think there is something about the time element, but at its core I think most people are fat because they lack discipline. Short term gratification rules their decision tree.

Fat men, men with addictions, men who play too much video games, men addicted to porn, men who won't workout, etc, etc. All comes back to the same concept - guys who cannot defer short term gratification for long term gain. One more time, no discipline.

Agree with this 100%. I think I bagged five times the chicks in my 30s that I did in my 20s. My 40s started the same way. If you take care of yourself, I really think a man's peak SMV is in his 45-55 age bracket. IMO TRP is rooted in our fundamental drives that has been sculpted by thousands of years of evolution. That recent sociological "developments" in the last 50 years have been at odds with these drives is of no consequence. In a twisted adaptation of an ecological quote - Mother Nature bats last. Put another way, biology will always trump sociology in the long run. Always.

I think the message is to avoid anything that gives short term reward for no or negative long term gain. There is almost nothing worth having that is associated with short term reward. Truthfully - I have found winning in court is just like anything else - taking responsibility for the process and specifically, reading the law and related cases. Title IX is a completely abused piece of legislation. This can be easily solved - let the market do it. My opinion, the goal of college is to prepare students for the workforce, not to play games. Only declines if you let it. Kinda the entire point I was making. My philosophy is just based on self determinism and the ability to control how your life goes. Your business, career, social/professional networks, family life, health, spiritual life, etc. Getting ass is just another by-product of this mindset, not the ultimate goal. Of the two - marriage and children - one is reversible, the other is not. Granted, if you dont have a prenup, you could get reamed in the split, but once you're done, you're done. Having kids is a life sentence and shackles you to the women for eternity. Worst of all is marrying a woman with kids. Like most concepts about feminism when views through a RP lens, just because she wishes or demands that things are a certain way, nature and evolution have other ideas. I was nervous a bit the first time. Couldnt wait to get back the second and third times. The women in Cali definitely have a certain look about them. A very good example of a Calena is to Google Manuela Arbelaez. She's looks VERY Cali, Colombia - I actually think she's from there. That said, go to eithe…

Im asked that a lot. I put it this way. When you're in NYC, there are certain areas you stay out of. Cali is like that, just the areas to stay out of are bigger. You dont go into the mountains, and you dont hang out in zone 1 for extended periods of time. Of all the time Ive spent there, I can say I had one single incident where I thought something might happen. I was in one of the malls (Chipichape specifically), and went to the mens room. I went in alone, and it was empty. Right after I unzipp…

Why? Like everything, its the market. For starters, I believe different races favor one gender over the other in regards to appearance. In South America, its clearly the women. With such a plethora of hot chicks, men down there dont need to do much to get one. After being there for just a few days, I realized all a dude down there needed was ONE thing going for him to nab a HB9+. And I mean just ONE thing. Like a job. Like a car. Like being not fat. Like being over 5'8". Any of that, you can get…

Cali is a city in Colombia my friend - IMO the greatest concentration of hot women the world has ever seen. These chicks just drip of sexuality. An average girl from Cali would be a knockout in the States. One warning - spending any appreciable time down there will totally reset your standards on what is good looking. After my first time there I flew back to the US and disgusted by the number of dogs around me when I landed. Also, its ColOmbia, not ColUmbia. People down there are sensitive about…

Only point of reference I have to compare is Colombia. Been to Cali three times. All I can say is the place is an absolute RP white guy's paradise. If by US standards you are even reasonably good looking and have moderate game, you will have a line of HB9+ trying to get your attention, all day, everywhere you go. Place is fucking ridiculous.

Well, again, my point isnt to blow sunshine up peoples asses on how great they are, as that advice can actually be damaging. My point is to let people know that making that kind of money is very attainable if you are willing to sacrifice to get it. One thing I would add to your list is to always consider governmental risk in your investment choices. Governmental risk basically comes in two forms - tax risk, and currency risk. Fallacious reasoning. Its not they do not have a job - they do not have the SAME repetitive job and now are free to add value on other more productive ways. This is exactly why despite absolutely enormous advances in computing power since the 1970s, we have not seen any even remotely correlative increases in unemployment. Ive been hearing the "computers will take jobs" story since the word was first entered the American lexicon in the 70s. To be fair, thats nonsense. All other things being equal, indentured servitude only serves one person, at the full expense of one person, so net to society is zero. That one moment - that one instant in time where you decide to go to the gym instead of lying on the couch. Our lives are made up of a string of those infintesimal crossroads. Choosing correctly at that moment makes all the difference between being a winner and being a loser.

Great post. TRP is not about short cuts to a better life and getting laid. Its about long term commitment to yourself and your life at the expense of short term gratification, in short, discipline. In this bullshit liberal throwaway society, its not easy. We're bombarded by short term gratification (just look at the proliferation of fast food in the last half century.) We're shamed for acting like men. We're goaded into BP mentality because the powers that be knows BPs are much easier to control…

Sanders is proposing to raise the top rate to 90%. That has nothing to do with my current wealth and how I obtained it. And yes, I will definitely hit that bracket if this jackass is elected.

Right. So it was hard work and discipline, not some stupid fucking "addiction." Thanks for proving my point.

Wrong. If you are ALREADY a multi-millionaire, it wont effect you much. If you are very productive/have a high income, its going to fucking kill you. We dont have a wealth tax in the US, we have a productivity/income tax. What these dumb fucks voting dont realize is a top income bracket of 90% actually PRESERVES the class structure.

Sounds like your "addiction" is really nothing other than a guy working hard at something, which again, is the opposite of addiction. For fifteen years I worked 100 hour weeks on Wall St. It was hard, stressful, and had a negative impact on my health. It doesnt mean I was addicted to it. It means I was willing to sacrifice short term gain for …

Same exact phenomenon. He couldnt give up short term reward for long term gain. That it was playing guitar does not change this fact. Addiction is opposite of discipline.

One more time here - the single key to success in life is the ability to defer short term gratification for long term gain. In other words, discipline. On a related note, the opposite of discipline is addiction, (short term reward at the expense of long term gain), which is why I think addictions are the ultimate BP trait.

This was a half-assed attempt to use string theory as support for RP thinking. It sounded stupid, and it was. Like most things regarding social phenomenon, my post was intended as a broad generalization, not a universal truth. This is why I intentionally used the word "typically" in my original post. If anything college is when all this BP crap is rammed down your throat. College campuses are by nature very liberal places where feminism has a stronghold. Maybe a semantic disagreement, but my definition of discipline is the ability to do, and continue to do, things that you otherwise would not want to do. The ability to trade short term pain for long term gain. I do not see how that that quality makes you rigid and narrow-minded. I do see how that keeps you from addictions and is the fuel that gets you what you want in life long term. As I have posted elsewhere, its my opinion that addictions are the result of a severe BP mentality. That is, the inability to defer short term pleasure despite the negative long term cost. It reeks of lack of discipline, which is a necessary condition for true RP living. In this case, the addiction is food. The long term benefits of health, social status, athletic performance, and sexual conquests are all traded for moments of flavors on the tongue and a satiated belly. As alluded to above, to b…

For the briefest of moments, he even admits deep down he know this is bullshit, but he cant help but to be a weak BP. Like any expression of power, its only as good as it credibility. You can give an ultimatum, but you'd better be willing to back it up to the letter - swiftly and irrevocably. That said, an ultimatum is usually given only in response to a shit test. If she respected your word and views enough already, she wouldnt be putting you in a situation where you needed to give one. Put another way, just that you've had to give one shows you've fucked up somewhere already.

I agree with much you say. Just spit balling here, but my conjecture regarding this is that during a complete economic collapse, there will be some fractional rate between the precious metals that will be established. Put practically, go to buy food, you bring silver. Go to buy a house, you bring gold. Of course, this fractional exchange will present some liquidity issues given the intrinsic and physical characteristics of the currency, but those precious metals will still be an uninflatible, co…

Going go be harder in the future as for the first time in human history we are de-evolving as a species. In the past, the weak/unfit of the species were punished by wars, shunning, natural selection, etc, by not having their weaker traits/genes being passed down. However, for the past half century or so, instead of the weak having few or no children, we instead subsidize it with income transfers and a welfare state. So now, the weaker of the species are reproducing at a faster and faster rate, o…

Discipline is everything. Key to success, money, women. Everything. Much much more important than brain or looks, both of which are worthless without discipline. Unfortunately, we live in a liberal-blue pill society that now emphasizes "creativity" in our children at the expense of discipline, and the current state of our society is showing this.
