I'm a member of both feminist and mens rights subreddits and most of the time I can't really see the difference. Sure, I see the extremes of both sides too, like women talking as though men are sexcrazed idiots who'll rape them the moment the man looks at them, and men talking as though women aren't discriminated against at all in any context.

But for most feminists and most mens rights-advocates it seems that they want the same thing. I know feminism is very focused on women, but I'd say the majority of feminists I come in contact with would agree with almost everything that the majority of mens rights-people talk about.

Personally, I wouldn't put myself under either of those cathegories. I enjoy the debate and I agree with most of what both groups have to say (Or what I've heard them say), but I want equality for all and I don't need to put a lable on it. I'm here because it's a topic I care a lot about, but I've got no idea what the difference is between the less extreme of either group.

And to put into context what I mean by extreme. I'd concider Bill O'reilly an extreme christian person, but not Lady Gaga. They're both religious, but one can (I'm guessing) have a conversation about religion without smoke coming out of her ears.
