EDIT: I used this argument a few times today, on this very sub, so it's clear to me that it needs more attention; thus, the post.

If you look around, you'll find quite a few discussions as to whether kicking a man in the groin is sexual assault. Often times men will say it should be, while women say it should not, because there is no sexual intent. But, I've got news for you... it's not a question of should or should not, because by definition it already is.

the term “sexual contact” means the intentional touching, either directly or through the clothing, of the genitalia, anus, groin, breast, inner thigh, or buttocks of any person with an intent to abuse, humiliate, harass, degrade, or arouse or gratify the sexual desire of any person (USC 18, Sec. 2246)

That said, when women are brought to court for such assaults, the charge is generally battery or domestic abuse, and they stay off of the sex crime list. Ironically, a seven year old boy will be investigated for sex crime, even though it was in self defense while being choked.

As such, I'd like to assert that it's time for the MRM to start talking about this. We discuss the rates of other sexual crimes, and how male victims go ignored, but even most MRAs tend to ignore this situation. There is undeniable evidence within the law to trump personal opinion, and a gap that needs filling on the sex crime list.
