A little over 2 weeks ago I found out my wife was cheating. She emotionally abused me and I hit her. I'm not proud of it, but it happened, I snapped. Here's the full story. http://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/ve5zp/found_out_my_wife_was_cheating_i_flipped_out_and/

Ok, now that we have that out of the way, here's what's going on now. She filed for divorce and had papers served to me a couple of days later. I went to a law firm and got a free consultation, but I haven't been able to afford a lawyer yet. So yesterday, around 11:30am, I was awakened by my garage door being opened. I looked out the window and saw a flatbed tow truck loading up the Corvette I'm restoring, the one I inherited from my parents and have spend thousands of dollars and hours and gallons of sweat on. I ran down stairs and the tow truck driver said my wife had ordered it taken, she has the title so legally it's her car. Turns out she went into my garage, took the title out of the glovebox, and signed her name to it, making her co-owner of the car. I called her and she basically admitted she did it just to spite me, she's going to take the car to a junkyard and have it put in the smasher, and that if I try to fight it she's going to have me arrested for assault, she still has pictures of when I hit her. Is there anything I can do? I love this car more than life itself. I've been restoring it for the better part of a decade, but I'm not willing to put myself in jail over it. Any advice would be appreciated.
