Male-only floors: Rooms with big comfy beds, NICE beer in the fridge, a grill with burgers ready, a shower that has a perfectly sharp razor in it, and a nice stereo to wake up to in the morning.

I would join a male only gym if there was one.

99% of people at my gym who sit on machines, run their mouths with their friends, text on their phones and don't work out; thus preventing you from using the machines... are women.

Male only gyms are much needed.

Simple. There is no basis in law to prevent this.

I have no problem with female only floors. But that's because I believe that businesses should feel free to operate to make clients happy if it's within the bounds of the law. I'd have no problems with male only floors either. If women want to have the floor let them, maybe we can get them to do the windows next (kidding!)

All men are potential rapists, it is just a matter of situation. The only way to be sure a woman staying in a hotel won't be raped (By a man) is to have all women floors.

I saw an article written by a woman who is really against this idea. If I can find it I'll re-post it.

Feminist propaganda has scared some women into perceiving a rapist (male=rapist of course) around every corner. And when they're in a strange town, on business or whatever, it helps them rest easy to know no rape-y penises will come near them in the hallway of a posh hotel.

It honestly doesn't bother me, because the hotel isn't denying access to any hotel services to males and they can stay in the vast majority of rooms in the rest of the hotel. Double standard, yes, but we have WAAAAAYYYYY more damaging double standards to worry about than this.

Do they have women on the maintenance staff that can work on the unoccupied rooms or do they shut down the whole floor if a guy has to go fix the sink in one of the rooms?

Are they going to have big "no men allowed" signs on all the doors and on the elevator button? What if a guy accidentally goes to that floor because the ice machine on his floor is broken?

Can women bring their daughters but not their sons? What if they don't want their boys around those scary men? What if the hotel denied a request for a woman to stay on the floor with her son and something did happen to him?

I think the hotel has a right to do this but I can think of all kinds of complications.

Female-centric hotel floors make sense to me. Female-only? That's a little double standard-y to me.
