We all know r/feminisms loves to delete anyone who doesn't toe the line. But now Yellowmix is admitting to deleting comments for no reason other than them coming from men. This needs more attention.

While I see many here making the point that every subreddit has the right to self-moderation, I think that there is an important distinction here. It's not about censoring posts because of the posts themselves, but about censoring posts because of part of the identity of the poster.

In addition, it would be nice if /r/feminisms was more open about such censorship. If they are going to delete posts by males, they should indicate that they don't tolerate trolls and men. Even if men don't have the right to post, men and women that go to that subreddit should have the right to know that the moderators have such a policy in place.

Heh. Just posted this to r/worstof too. This shit is crazy. I'm like you, I know they delete comments simply for coming from men, but to have the fucking balls to actually admit it is on another level of crazy (btw don't use the word "crazy" in r/feminisms, it's a ban-able offence, I shit you not). TBH, I'm not sure whether to hate Yellowmix for her sexist ideology and corrupt modding practices, or admire her for having the juevos to admit they're outright deleting comments from men now.

your mistake is going to a place created by women, for women, and expecting them to be anything other than what they are. irrational children with no sense of justice or accountability
