Don't comment on looks, don't play 20 questions and get rid of her if you can't get a number within 6 or so messages. If you want to be really rigorous swipe left on any mention of Instagram. Minimum time investment, weeds out 80% of all the attention whores.

It is easy to avoid attention-seekers, scammers, time-wasters, etc.

Simply arrange to meet after three or four lines of conversation. If she won't meet, she's wasting your time. If she will meet, you are in the same position as meeting someone in everyday life.

This is wrong advice. That's like saying don't go daygame because the majority of girls you talk to, you won't sleep with.

Online game is amazing. It doesn't replace real-life game but it has the highest reward for the lowest time investment.

I don't know what this idea of validating girls comes from, who here in their right mind would have long drawn out useless conversations with girls they've never met? At most you should exchange 2-3 messages with a girl(which takes 45 seconds to come up with) before you disengage if you see she's not interested and then you move on to the next.

If you have a good profile(I'm a photographer, God knows I've seen plenty of bad profiles out there) you can easily go on 5+ dates per week with about 30 mins of effort.

Good luck doing that any other way.

It's like inflation in money. More money causes more businesses and offers (thot culture). Then value of the actual money is low because the businesses end up competing for the same suppliers that raise prices. (Keepling up with the Cyndy's of the world and the female dopamine treadmill).

Suddenly years down the line - the man with a ounce of gold is king. (frame control, abundance and any form of emotional boundary). In fact - I think that it was never easier to be a smuck and get laid in all of human history. Just being an apparent challenge can get you girls, because women have no challenges right now. Nothing is challenging and that's why they are bored out of their minds.

The issue is not the inflation or the chumps that pump the money. The issue is you are invested in that currency(old school chumps that think that sending a raunchy meme in the DMs is "escalation" or boomers that think taking someone to a restaurant is a smooth "status indicator").

You don't care about women devolving into teenage puppies, you are just personally invested in devalued dating trends, you are holding those inflationary assets and are frustrated their value is dirt now.

Get game. Get Abs. Get a fucking job that excites you and allows you to slay the world. And go out there and have the time of your life.

Bad advice.

Dating apps are a great avenue to go on lots of dates and sleep with lots of women.

Just like daygame and night game.

I disagree. You can easily pick out women who have no interest in meeting. If they list their IG or SC on Tinder or whatever, they just want attention and you're wasting your time. I've gotten laid a lot off of Tinder and even dated a few. As others have noted, don't text forever on there. Get a number with intention to meet up. Most girls are getting interest from a ton of dudes so move fast and get the number while the interest is higher (first few messages)

I’ve used tinder with great success. You just have to learn who the time wasters are and who is real. It’s like anything in life. Don’t expect the world but it’s a good tool to set up meetings. It takes 2 mins to go through all your swipes in a day. I try to get a number within 4 messages. Pretty easy.

Interesting article although I don't think the author did a great job of building a cogent argument in support of her thesis (dating and other social apps are making us incapable of true human connection). She's probably correct up to a point although I speculate that we aren't really wanting/looking for that connection ("to know and be known") anymore. Contra the author who sounds like a boomer or genXer, millennials and younger don't seem to have hope that greater happiness/joy exists beyond the hedonic treadmill.

I don't know man, when I used to hustle working overtime with 90+ hour work weeks, dating apps were a very time saving, convenient way to meet people. It really allows you to scale up the amount people you interact with. Of course there will be a lot of toxicity to weed through, but it really is a nice option when you're busy.
