Well I know that there will be pc people that hate her but you generally have to be part of the "oppressed" population for anyone to listen to you. If it was a man saying it people would just say hes doing it in his own self interest and is supporting the patriarchy. This is why I wish I wasnt a straight white male because that places me at the top of everyone's hit list with no oppression points to make my opinion matter.

Our own GirlWritesWhat has done a lot of talking on this topic to whatever talk show'll take her. One of the most famous instances is when The Young Turk's Cenk got so pissed off at not being able to beat her in a debate that he kept yelling for her to go make him a sandwich.

She's been very busy and not made much content the last three years or so here but she's mentioned often that she gets "fame" and a platform almost entirely for being a female saying these things: men cannot.

I really recommend any material, video or written, by her, if you want a little white pill for some hope in humanity. She has some dark predictions, such as that it's probably not gonna get better in the near future, but she gets it, she talks about it.

Senator Coons - like most politicians is after votes... and this is, my opinion, what needs to stop. These people are only administrators.. there may have been a time in human history when they were Gods or directly appointed by 'gods' but that has stopped but unfortunately we are 'hopefully' seeing the end of this and now we are all human beings together and need to work together - even if I don't want to with some, I must. We are all connected - somehow - so it is pointless to deny this fact..

Maybe we all need heroes and when there are no 'good ones' we go for the horror killing hero!!

Glad I watched that... she is good... Boys being boys has become 'men will be men = rape, killing' rather than 'jumping, running, pushing against something'. I've seen enough real masculine to sense a difference between real and performed masculinity...

Cancel culture prevents most men to speak up very easily. Speak up and unless you have a decent support behind you both online and offline, your career is over, you get harassment, death threats, and marked as a sexist among other things with no way of getting out from that hole. Even worse if some known radicals from the right speak up in support of you, people will then associate you with those groups forever, they don't care that there's no connection.

Until common sense becomes common again, you're either silent or viewed as an extremist oppressor.

There is a dark undertone to the recent wave of women speaking out about this IMO. They can see that the world is economically falling apart and they want strong men to help them. I would say most of these women are just looking out for themselves and don't actually care about us.

The word hero originally meant putting one's life or safety in danger to help other[s]. Women/feminists have co-opted the word to apply to what might be termed 'emotional bravery'. No, feminists, there is already a word for that. It is confidence.

They have taken an activity that is almost exclusively male and altered its original meaning such that 'heroic masculinity' (putting oneself in danger to help another) must be qualified.

I think one of the reasons women can talk about this stuff and men (kind of) can't is because of conflict of interest; namely that if a man talks about men's issues, he's seeing his own problems and is focusing on himself; but if a woman talks about men's issues, that means they're big enough that even somebody who isn't affected by them can see them.

(I'm not saying that any of the other reasons people have suggested are not true, just; 'here's another'.)

It depends on how it's presented, some anti-men types will praise self sacrificing men because it serves their own self interest to have men save them. They basically want to use men without supporting them.

I'm suspicious because I know the Atlantic is garbage but I can't recall their specific articles about feminism.

If someone is genuine in their support in this they would show it by standing up for men who make "masculine" type mistakes against those who attack men when they make those mistakes. Also they need to support dedicating resources to boys to help them achieve healthy and successful masculinity. Just saying men can save me is not support.

I had this argument over a beer with a female friend over Christmas holiday weekend a few years back when she was in town. She claims she’s a feminist. She loves to spar with me, but it got heated and stupid when The discussion of how men and women are biologically different and she claimed “it’s the patriarchy lying to us.”

I asked, If you had to fight 100 men or 100 women to save your life, which group would you choose. As in, who do you have a better chance of surging. She claimed oh, but Ronda Rousey.. and I was like sure, she’s kill me. But out of 100 women, there might be 2 that possess that strength and athleticism. Out of men, more like 15 out of 100.

It’s a stupid argument because it’s blatantly obvious by the fact that I’m 6’2” (don’t know any women my height), I’m 250lbs (and not that fat), don’t know any women over 200 lbs that aren’t obese, as it’s muscle density making up a lot of that weight, that we are blatantly biologically just different. Why is that such a fucking problem? Even our “waists” are different. We don’t have fucking child bearing hips. Who cares?

Coons is juat a PC cuck that had his career start to fash before his eyes as a form of forbidden dialog was unfolding in jnfront of him (man in positive light) There seems to be only 3 things he can do 1. Desperately steer the conversation elsewhere, 2. Fight the woman with your words but it's male against female so not a good choice ever. 3. Commit career suicide and have an open and honest discussion including what we can do to start society's healing process.
