And by sex partner I don‘t mean a prostitute, but a person that desires to have sex with the man and I am not speaking about a sex partner in a LTR but entirely casual.

It goes from "All I want is sex" to "No, not with someone getting paid for it, someone who wants to have sex with me." to "No, not in an LTR, but in a purely casual sense."

Then no doubt, once they start liking their partner or realizing the casualness means she can have sex with other guys, it'll become "No, not in a casual sense but exclusively just for me..."

So I guess either people will always be needy or people who place a ton of terms and conditions on their satisfaction will never not be needy.

The thing I don't understand, is why men try to make their "I can't get any, wah wah wah" problem, a women's problem.

That's your own problem, as a gender. Women are not involved in this, yet you try and try to make to drag women into this. Why not deal with your own frustration yourselves? Just deal with it yourselves. Leave women out of it.

It is very normal for humans to take things for granted. When something is guaranteed or given without being earned, people tend to take advantage of it or don’t appreciate it. More is never enough. And men are just people, and people are naturally inclined to having emotional connections unless their trauma responses see connection as something to fear or avoid.

This is definitely how it works for me.

When I am meeting new women, I usually have at least one woman I am already having sex with once a week or two. So when I meet someone new, there is no stress or worry about whether it will work out or whether we will have sex, because I know I will be having sex soon enough regardless.

That means I can focus on the person in front of me, observe, listen and get to know her as well as possible. I almost never have sex the first day I meet someone: I prefer to sleep on it before deciding whether to meet her again. It makes everything more relaxing. And women can smell it on you: they can see you are not needy or desperate. They can sense my confidence and outcome-independence.

They then tend to make more of an effort; they certainly don't expect me to pay or supplicate in any way. They feel they need to qualify themselves to me, rather than the other way around.

Since this fuck partner would be mainly casual , I'm sure the desire for a relationship and that kind of connection would still be there, so there would still be a dating Market but men having a consistent sex partner like what you're describing would certainly take a lot of the edge off

Male neediness in dating would drop to zero, even now many women complain that they can't get commitment from hot guys. Now imagine if even average and ugly men had the the same amount of options that hot fuckboyshave, probably only guys with anxious attachment styles would want relationships as much as women.

Studies already show that in environments when women are the majority men are less committed and casual sex is more rampant, women become more picky and sex outside of realtionships is rare in environments where men are the majority.

Perhaps it decreases the neediness for men who don’t want long term relationships. But there are lots of men out there who want something more than a casual sex partner and will feel that need even if casual sex is readily available to him.

Why do high value men who have access to hot women for casual sex choose to get married and have kids? Some guys want more than the surface stuff.

Interesting thought, but for me at least the chase, buildup, talking stage, testing boundaries, dating, flirting, and then ultimately sex is all part of the experience

Not sure if it would be different if it was just common or expected.

I’ve also never been in a super LTR so idk how that would effect things for me either just a thought

Women have evolved to need a strong, masculine presence in their lives and they will seek to attach themselves to such a presence, which can be a masculine man or a masculine woman. Women's need for men is actually much stronger than men's need for women although both genders need each other.

You basically just described my relationship. He's guaranteed sex with me 99.9% of the time, it's entirely casual, and I always desire sex with him. The remaining percentage is for the 2 times I was sick to the point even I didn't feel horny the entire day.

The only thing I'd nitpick about is whether the guy wants it to be an LTR or not. It seems that as they get older most men tire of playing the dating world numbers game and would greatly prefer one enthusiastic, at least mildly attractive, woman to have sex with. So I think they would be more than happy to be in a casual LTR, not necessarily a committed and cohabitating LTR.

But yes, based on personal experience I think the neediness goes down significantly when sex is readily available. There's a reason my FWB hasn't wanted to bother with the dating world in over a decade, because like me he sees little point in doing so.

Well, let’s look at history. Let’s take rock legend Mick Jagger. He’s been getting easy sex any time he wanted since he was 20. He’s allegedly has sex with thousand of women still he’s been married. He’s been with his current partner since 2014. If you look at other male musicians who could get sex at the drop of a hat, the majority of them are also married or have been married. So no, just because a man can get constant sex from just about any one his desire for companionship with one woman doesn’t go away.

This is right on the money, in my opinion.

What powers much of the interaction between men and women is a manufactured scarcity of sex. By creating a culture in which men are presented with a whole set of requirements they have to meet outside the intimate part of the relationship (my favorite is "help around the house" -- what the fuck?) what's created is an increasingly high and difficult set of hurdles men are supposed to clear in order to have access to sex. Millions and millions of men in the United States are stuck in marriages where they are not getting laid, or in which their wives see sex as some kind of reward to be doled out in return for compliance. And yes, I was in one of them once.

If you're male, and you desire sex, which is what you're biologically constructed to do, literally every women on the planet will feel free to tell you how you need to behave in order to receive it. Even women who are obviously hostile, or lesbians. As you get older as a man you realize that this is totally manipulative bullshit, untrue and designed to induce a scarcity mindset. But it works.

It's an incredibly effective control strategy. By collectively managing access to something men need, and constructing a set of social systems around it (think: chivalry) what's prevented is what politicians, less-attractive women and others fear most: a population of truly free men, who are entitled to act in their own self-interest. This behavior, by the way, seems pretty limited to middle-class and upper middle-class white and Asian women. Black women do this shit far less, I suspect, as do Latinas. If men would just stop playing these games, ignore the social games, and stop allowing themselves to be led around by their dicks, the world would change in about one day.
