This is so sad. She didn't deserve any of this. I wrote a post about why I quit OLD, and this one of those reasons: they hold us responsible for WHATEVER is done to us. OLD is seen as written consent for depravity.

How tragic, Rest In Peace Lauren. The fact that the police didn’t even try to reach the family to let them know of her death and they had to find out by going to her apartment and seeing a note. Heartless. The investigation was botched and there’s only the date’s word that they seem to be taking as the full truth, what a joke. I hope as this becomes more public, her family will get answers and justice.

They're yet again victim blaming! Implying, that it's her fault, that she had a "party" lifestyle and that she took recreational dr#gs. She was drugged, raped, and killed (guessing from a combination of the alcohol and drugs) yet the guy who did all of these things is a 'nice guy'???? Can we yeet men into the sun now please? What a complete joke.

It is so disgusting how she was failed by the police and they did nothing, even though there was overwhelming evidence something had happened. They didn't even have the decency to properly contact her family.
