I apologize for trauma dumping, but all of this is word to word how my previous marriage went before it delved into domestic violence. Ex really got into pornography and became incredibly porn sick, and I wouldn't be surprised that now after years that he probably cheated on me, judging by the severe lack of emotional and sexual intimacy during our last few years together.

His porn use got more degrading and violent, the titles he would watch were revolting, and he would really get into trying to get me to do anal. When we first met, he didn't have much issue going down on me; once his porn use got more and more bad, though, I was lucky to get it maybe thrice a year, if that. The more gross porn he watch, the more aggressive and violent he got with me. His drinking got worse, too.

Of all the addictions out there in the world, porn seems to be the most acceptable and gets the most pass. Alcoholism and drug abuse are both seen as rightfully concerning, but watching violent porn and getting ED? Marriages and relationships breaking down from it? Infidelity and STI infections? No big deal.

This shit is heartbreaking and exactly why I don’t understand why I was called creepy by men on another subreddit for giving advice to a woman about the orgasm gap after losing her virginity. If someone had told me about it early on and gave me a healthier idea of what sex can be, I would have avoided plenty of trauma. Lvm hate it when women come together and share wisdom.
