This reminds of a really ugly r/relationshipadvice post where a guy was talking about this exact issue. He had a bisexual girlfriend who had all sorts of nudes from her previous girlfriend but was disgusted at the thought of getting nudes from him. He was feeling hurt by it and was asking for advice.

The comment ripped into him like a ravenous great white shark on a baby seal. Telling him all sorts of cruel things like how men’s nude bodies are just objectively uglier than women’s with many of these hecklers claiming to be heterosexual women who still preferred seeing naked women over men 🤨.

It go downright cruel and any time he protested or just tried to get back to the original point he was accused of being arrogant and trying to dominate the perspectives of others.

There were obviously other issues that fueled this ugliness but it demonstrates that male sexuality is scrutinized, constrained and forced into far more narrow channels in order to be considered acceptable in form.

I think a lot of it is also supply and demand.

Some guys have decided that the world must see their dick and they send that out like they're a Military wife pushing the latest MLM. The market is oversaturated with dicks nobody wants to see.

One of my friends was explaining to me that she likes some dick pics, but she has to like the guy before he sends the pic. If it's unsolicited, even if the guy is hot, it's a turnoff because common should be don't send pics of your genitalia to someone who hasn't expressed an interest in seeing it. If he's willing to disregard that aspect of respect for the person he wants to fuck, what else is he possibly going to disregard? However, if she's into him it's more like a preview of what she's going to enjoy later.

On the flip side, guys like boobs. However, this is mostly only true for average to attractive women. Unattractive women get treated the same as average men. Guys on here might be thinking "Well.. to be fair, I do like boobs, and it would be fun to feel like I was the one being pursued for a change." But you're thinking of the woman being someone you're attracted to. If it's a coworker who's 30 years older than you and morbidly unhealthy you're going to have a much different reaction than if it's the cute barista.
