Early retirement has been a goal of mine since I was 15 years old. I have saved and invested for as long as I have had income. While my divorce took a big juicy bite out of all of this for me I am still on track for early retirement and have been focused on maximizing my efforts again post-divorce.

My question is: If I hit my "coast" number where I can just take a shitty, low paying job to pay my immediate bills while letting compounding interest and time do it's thing with my big nut of investment money will I realistically be able to get a reduction in child support or even start receiving support from my ex? Right now I earn almost double what she does but have 50% legal and physical custody of the kids. Due to the income discrepancy I still pay a decent sum in CS to her. Would my income be imputed if I took a lower paying job or will I be successful in getting a favorable change?
