Call me a misogynist, but this is just my observation. I know this may not apply for all individuals but it's just an overview on the demographic.

In the realms on appearance, I know a lot of men including myself who are motivated to workout because we don't want to look like a loser or to compensate in some areas that we lack. Fat? cut and lose some fcking weight. Skinny? start bulking. Short? stop being a little man and start lifting. However, many women will need somewhat of positive reinforcement to move forward as this pure 'tough shit, get on with it' approach may not always work. An example would be this woman who seems to get a lot of hate by many other women for being blunt about her achievement and ending it with 'what's your excuse?'. Sure it can sound condescending if it hit the soft spot especially if you're insecure, but if you are to turn this around with a dad of 5 working 9-5 jobs showing off his gains and basically saying the same thing word for word, a lot of people would praise this guy for being such a role model. Meanwhile, many women would likely prefer if the message was more positive like
" You can do it too, it's not easy but it can be done, here's a few simple steps which might help", in my opinion.

Also when it comes to work or academics, it seems that while both genders I equally bothered by the consequences of not performing up to the standard, it seems a lot of women I know tend to try to make the process itself more 'attractive'. If it's studying, they would decorate their notes with cute flowers and stuff and write out their note so neatly that it could've replaced the actual textbook it they want to. Additionally, from my experience, many girls aren't shy to show how they are diligent at studying, while guys will often want to appear 'chill' and 'not caring' but still get good grades, so I thin there is a hint of egoism in these sort of things

What do you guys think about this?
