Banning transexual males from competing equally against women is simply admitting women are NOT as strong as men. So why is it still taboo to say this fact for men? People have had careers ruined for saying men stronger than women.

It’s obvious to everyone. I didn’t really realize just how much until I had been working out for a year only to improve my health and thought it would interesting where my bench press, squat, and deadlift numbers would land me compared to people competing. My numbers were higher than almost any female in my weight class even if they were 20 years younger and been training specifically for it most of their life. I was nowhere close to the guys who were putting up numbers twice to three times as much for the same weight class and age.

It’s not as extreme between people who don’t do any exercise. Something like 30% stronger lower body and 90% upper body.

It’s very hypocritical. We created women’s sports out of a recognition that when it comes to athletic ability, women aren’t equal, but then we see them expecting to be treated and paid as if they are equal. In fact, the women’s soccer team feels they deserve a better deal than the men (despite the fact a team of 15 year old boys beat them)

Then they claim unfair when a transgender female competes. (Who transitioned, not just identified). Acknowledging those born male are getter than women even after transitioning.

So now, as I understand, they are going to make it against the rules for transgender athletes to compete in women’s swimming but not illegal to compete in men’s swimming, which is of course an unequal ruling.

I’ve long supported easier sports leagues for women to provide opportunities, but given all the issues I’m adopting the opinion we should get rid of gender specific sports and let all people equally compete regardless of sex, gender of gender identification.

They say they want equality, so let’s give it to them. Compete equally, no special leagues.

Not just in that case. For example 2 people want to aplicate for firefighter job. One man and one women, Both will do the same work. Why female phisycal test is easyer? I dont think that is fair. If the man fails the test, he could say i perceive my self as a woman. Im on transition and his results are good enough now to pass the test. Beign the same person. And maybe if he says that he perceive herself as woman, maybe he could get the job because gender inclusivity instead for having a good performance at test.

When you are in a fire, the last thing you will think is in the gender of the firefighter. You want one person who could save you. I think with the inclusion thing they interested in the genitals of the people or with who they slept, instead of their perfomance or way of thinking.

I don’t think you’ll find serious arguments against the fact that men are, on average, physically stronger and faster than women, or that the strongest/fastest men outpace the strongest/fastest women. This is a statistical reality.

The trouble comes where people try using these statistical data to argue that women are incapable of performing in physically demanding rolls, or that women should be prohibited from them.

Some women can meet the objective standard and some men can’t, so gender should not matter for assessing those sorts of things. If you’re choosing, for example, a plumber, a woman can be equally skilled and qualified and physically able to perform her tasks, so she should not be penalized for being a woman. Equally, she should not be rewarded for it.

I would be curious to see an example of a man having his career ruined for nothing more than stating objective facts.

Let me save me another 2 years of right-wing propaganda. When people talk about "biological differences between men and women", its a dogwhistle to say that inequality is solely because of those differences to avoid conversations about gender discrimination. Avoiding talking about discrimination also avoids talking about men's issues, which doesn't help this movement.

So no feminists will say that there are no biological differences between men and women on average (and individual cases, but this isn't used to talk about reproductive ortans), but that these differences don't explain every instance of measurable discrimination women face. They will also argue that these average differences are also exaggerated (throw like a girl, that sort of thing) and so, shouldn't be held up to prevent any woman's interests or competence in any activity by itself.
