I feel bad for the 10s out there. How difficult their lives must be. Constant struggles and misery I'm sure. If only somehow they could make themselves less attractive somehow. Must be impossible though. They just need to suffer the life of a 10/10. Life isn't fair.

Couldn't you sort of downgrade your looks easily if you had a problem with being too hot? Being really hot requires some effort beyond genetics and you wouldn't put in that extra effort if it was only causing more problems.

I’ve had one 10/10 in my family. She was a wedding dress model when she was younger, and looked better than most celebrities. She almost looked unreal. To my knowledge, she hasn’t had bad stalkers or crazies, but she had people waiting to take a look at her at school entrances. The part that I really felt bad for her was how other women treated her. They were so jealous that they didn’t want to see her life being perfect, and were noticeably happy when she talked about her health issues, and etc. That sounded pretty shitty to me. She wasn’t getting treated as a human with real feelings by many.

I'm not sure I entirely agree. Not a 10/10, but I got way more creepy attention and harassment as an awkward teenager with bad teeth than I do now, as a decent looking woman with fixed teeth. To me, it's pretty clear it has more to do with vulnerability and lack of confidence, where unsavoury men felt like they could mess with me because I wouldn't retaliate.

That said, being the more attractive one in your peer group does come with a different set of challenges, and of course, might increase the likelihood of you catching a stalker's interest. But it is by no means a given, and ultimately, the benefits far outweigh the demerits. And it all depends on how good you look relative to your group, you could experience the negative effects of being beautiful as an 8/10 too if all your friends are 5/10s.

Funnily enough, I've always thought that more than in dating, it's important to find friends who are looksmatches. That way there's more potential for true friendship and less competition and cattiness. In dating it isn't as important because romantic feelings elevate the other person in your eyes anyway, regardless of appearance.

The majority of men are "dying of thirst," while the majortity of women are "drowning in water," when it comes to attention/desire. Your situation simply doesnt apply to most men (ironically it applies to most women), which is why it doesnt matter in the long term.

Not really. 10/10 women tend to be pursued by wealthy men, easily find modelling gigs with very little work, and the majority of men stay clear of them because of fear of being rejected. The hottest women (9's+) are generally the nicest. The average - below average women tend to be bitter, insecure, fake, and perpetually on guard.

There's a reason women all hate and want to be 10/10 women. These women have all the power, they can afford to be nice, live good lives.

If you mean women, then yes, I agree: I have several woman friends who are totally stunning, and really, their life is not easy. Men staring at them and hitting on them constantly. Most of them are in relationships with very average looking men that love them, and that unwanted attention is just background noise they don't enjoy at all.

If your post referred to men, I agree again. As a woman, I never give a second thought to an extremely good looking man; yes, I might admire his looks from a distance, but I know enough about the world to be sure that man has plenty to choose from. I have a man in my family who's probably a 10 for many women, I've witnessed his emotional and sexual life for many years, and really, I wouldn't want to be in the shoes of the women he dated. And by the way, since we've talked a lot, he wasn't too happy about it either.
