"I don't like muscular guys" "I would NEVER cheat" "I love an emotionally vulnerable guy" "I am physically AROUSED by introverted nerds, just like my boyfriend"

etc etc.

How many times also, do we see people RAVE about their partner who they are so in love with, how he is perfect for them in every way. He's probably as far away from a sterotypical hot guy as you can get also, you get the drill.

Well REALITY is a GOOD portion, if not majority of those people on here who say those things, that theyre above behaving like that, they'd never be unattracted to their partner for behaving beta, or don't ever dream of having sex straight away, or their man is perfect and their love will keep them together etc etc - Will EVENTUALLY go ahead and do the very things they SWEAR they wouldn't do.

Some of them will cheat. Some of them will monkeybranch. Some of them will one day feel unattracted to their perfect partner for seemingly no reason at all...they may even convince themselves the comfort and beta behaviour can't be why they no longer lust after him the way they used to....they may even conciously say and force themselves to believe it was because of another, more acceptable reason....but that's the point.

We all, or at least mostly, like to BELIEVE we are good people. That we are moral with integrity. That we have self control and values.

We hate to think of ourselves as a cheater, as somebody who can be "gamed" into being attracted to somebody. People hate the idea that they're superficial, that the super handsome guy with muscles is making them feel tingles, how could he, he's a superficial idiot, not sensitive and sweet like my smart boyfriend.

We all think we're better. EVERYONE thinks they're good and right and strong and moral.

Right up until you're not.

That's all TRP says. It says women and MEN also are weaker and ruled by their instincts than they'd like to be. Yeah, you get the odd exception, nuns and monks exists, but for the MOST part as a man in the modern dating world it makes statistical sense not to count on everyone being as GOOD AS THEY THINK THEMSELVES TO BE.
