(It's a long post but you really need to hear this) I see a lot of people glamorizing highly attractive/successful men and women in the dating market while completely discarding the fact that it is not as simple as it looks. Imagine being an attractive woman with plentiful of options, sounds great right? But the thing is that if you have so many options you feel less satisfaction with your final choice and it doesn't matter what they look like. Imagine trying to pick a car, you have a decent idea of what you want, but when you enter the storeroom you see hundreds of cars with the exact features you were looking for. So now you become more choosy and eventually second guess whichever car you do pick. Secondly, (coming from personal experiences in the past) having a plentiful of options also means that you don't feel grateful. I know it sounds stupid but when you get something so easily (and with no effort)it's hard to see the value in it. There are studies to prove that when a particular thing is given for free, it is subconsciously seen as not valuable. Conversely, when the same product (eg a pair of headphones) has to be paid for, the overall product is seen as better and the customer feels much more satisfied with what they have. I know this as a lot of successful people don't care about women and particularly aren't happy either.
This is why I think being a highly successful person in this sense might not be as amazing as people think it is. What do yall think about this?

Edit: having no success at all is terrible too. I just think that you should think about it from their side too. The best approach would be seeing both sides of the coin, basically improving yourself and then getting success.

Edit 2: when I mean grateful I mean you don't understand the importance of it. Every hyper successful person I see that didn't earn it and were born with it don't give af about what they have and most of them aren't happy either. They don't take any of it seriously
