I think it depends. Very short maybe not, but… overall I agree. Height is just very easy to filter for on social media, but in practice I’ve never seen a good faced short guy struggle ever.

Absolutely agree. Myself and every woman I know look first at face as a threshold of attraction. Height and body type matter after that, but if we aren't into the guy's face, height does not matter at all.

It does matter way more but height is more of a prerequisite that can be make or break. I think most women just want a guy to be taller than her, at which point facial attractiveness is far more important than being even taller.

She may be ok with a guy the same height or a few inches shorter if he’s exceptionally handsome or charming, but more than that and nothing can make up for it.

Similarly with men, a woman’s facial attractiveness matters way more than her body type but if she’s morbidly obese even the face of Ana De Armas wouldn’t be enough to make up for it.

Even then facial attractiveness is subjective ,,height is objective. Facial attractiveness, still, is as important as height.

In my experience height matters more than face.

You can check my profile, I’m decently attractive but I’m 5’4”. It doesn’t help I look hypermasculine either at a time when that’s not the “look.”

I'm 5'8" and there are very few taller people I'd change places with. Most tall folks have at least a few of the following characteristics: fat, bald, hairy, physically unattractive in other ways, unsuccessful, fiscally challenged, socially awkward, unhealthy, old, depressed, etc etc etc. Sure, if I could snap my fingers and be 6'2" and nothing else at all changed about me, I'd do that. Why not. But absent that... there are not many taller folks whose non-height traits I'd want to deal with. If women who are 5'6"+ are totally uninterested in me because of my height... no problem. I totally understand. It's highly unlikely I'd have interest in them anyway, so everybody wins.

wish i saw the original post but I think you’re right. you will see a hella tall guy (considered hot by societal standards) but his face is kinda ugly. and maybe even his body is not that hot. and cause of their height they think their height is a personality trait lol.

find you a short king with a personality you’re attracted to and will be benefit to you. his face doesn’t need to be unbelievably hot but as long as you are attracted to him i think there’s better.

for example i was with a guy who is a very short and is considered weird… for wearing a scarf from his culture. and cause of his ethnicity (did genetic test and he’s part arab lol). but i like his height cause it compliments mine. im 4’10. he’s got a big nose and he is hella hairy. his beard is super suuuuper thick and he’s got hair like all over his body. i am obsessed with men with body hair so i was super attracted to him. people kinda judged me. im considered to be pretty but dated the weird kid. but when i got to know him he’s actually very kind and understanding. the people that find him weird… are probably right hahahahah. but he is such a cutie! he’s a short and very hairy guy with a very understanding personality. i have to admit there’s certain insecurities he has like his voice but it’s whatever. he’s the absolute love of my life (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

but eerrrmm tl;dr: i agree. some tall guys with ugly faces have clearly been told by too many women how hot they are so can kinda be pricks. short guys are underrated. fell in love w a short king and can’t stop talking about him 💀
