Great question.

I'm bored, so I'm going to give you a long drawn-out answer. Our current culture developed around shifting interpersonal dynamics between men and women. Plenty of other reasons, but this is the one that I find interesting.

Men coddled women for so long, that women started to believe that a woman's life has more value than a man's life.

We were taught by school, religion, and Disney movies that men are strong, so they should protect women who are weak. This sounds nice, but it encourages men to give protection and women to take that protection.

Unfortunately, the woman was not expected to provide anything to receive protection from her white knight.

If there is not an equal give and take, the giver becomes devalued. When a human invests in another, it makes them care more. If a human does not invest in their partner, they will never see their partner as valuable.

When a man gives his effort to a woman it makes him care more about her happiness, since he has invested in her life. When a woman takes from a man he becomes less valuable to her as his giving becomes expected. The woman tricks herself into thinking what the man offers is not valuable since she did nothing to earn it.

The devaluation of men continued in this way over years and worldviews shifted in response. Education, religion, and social media were updated and continued the devaluation of men. Men's worthlessness and the pedestal occupied by women became normal. Schools taught this as the correct way to see life.

In my 20 years of formal education, I heard thousands of times that women are strong, capable of anything, and in many ways better than men. But In all 20 years, it was never once said that it is good to be a man, or that a man is good for anything. Men were only spoken of as potential abusers, and male self-hatred was encouraged.

Men have become increasingly docile, but the demonization of men continues to grow. Over time, the thought that all men are worthless has been replaced with the thought that all men are bad people and should be treated accordingly.

Laws were created long ago with the idealistic goal of protecting women above all else. Now, those one-sided laws are used by psychopathic women to torture their male victims. And social media rejoices in that torture. The laws in effect blame men for everything that is wrong with the world.

We now live in a psychotic culture where women are actually praised by other women if they kill a man for any reason. While men are demonized when they try to defend themselves in any way.

There is a simple answer to this and that’s the integration of women into the workforce. For most of human society women have the been the nurtures, caters, mothers, wives ect.

Women then entered the workforce, a workforce which is highly competitive & downright brutal. It’s always been man v man in the workforce, you got in line did your job, trained at doing something, got educated at doing something and competed against others that did the same. Women where never exposed to this until they were integrated and along with that comes more masculine traits, hatred, anger, resentment ect.

Women are now completely equal to men, you’ll get the feminists claim the “pay gap” & “abortion” but they are completely equal in society and in some cases superior when it comes to other aspects as men still get treated differently in law, family court, mental health, education.

So there is nobody to blame for their lack of happiness. There is nobody to blame for their lack of self worth as they’re now being told they can have it all. So who is the easiest person to blame, men, and why are we easy to blame? Because we have become docile, lackadaisical, nonchalant at life. We are so used to being treated with contempt, anger, fear in 2022 that we just shrug it off.

I have a genuine question to ask any feminist who’s reading this post.

What do you think would happen if every man in this world went fuck it, I’m not putting up with this shit anymore?

Too much progressivism. People here are not taught how to think they're just told what to think and FEEL. Then they're sold false narratives and made to all be victims.

When you believe you're a victim you need someone to blame it on and it's literally anyone and everyone but yourself.

Then they're sold a cause. "You want to fix these problems? You want to be a good person? You want to change the world? Target these people! They're the problem!"

So the result is professional victims that all believe they're doing something for society when they're only destroying it. They've been indoctrinated so well they don't even know it.

It's a privilege and the result of a great life to be able to be offended by everything. It's just freedom when unchecked and given to the wrong hands. People with REAL problems don't have time to bicker about these things.

And unfortunately in the West, men are the target of blame for most things. More specifically white men. Despite building all of society and bringing humanity to where we are today, they only want to focus on the few bad men and push it as an "all men are bad kill all men" narrative.

Traditionalist cultures are the worst with forced military service, genital mutilation, financial obligations by the father but mothers get to focus on emotional bonds with children, terrible discrepancies between male and female lifespan, and protecting women's loves at the cost of men's lives.

Because men want to fuck women, most men, especially men who have a difficult time fucking women, allow women to behave in any way they want without reproach because they subconsciously believe doing so will increase their chances of fucking women. They also believe ostracizing men who speak against women will put them in good favors with women and increase the chances of sex. Most men are not going to take the risk of offending women because that means they won’t get to have sex with them. Take this effect and multiply it by millions of men and you get a gynocentric society that is scared to challenge women and panders to their every need. Reddit rules say that only "marginalized groups" are protected against harassment.

Reddit defines marginalized groups as follows:

But then the mental gymnastics start:

Which groups technically belong to the "majority" isn't explicitly stated. However, empirical evidence shows how the rule is enforced by mods and admins. For example: if you point out that the harassment of a (straight white) male is against the rules, you'll be reminded that it's perfectly fine.

It comes down to discrimination, disguised as a virtue.

It's the same with any hate targeted at a specific group. Life is a shit show most of the time and having someone to blame for it makes it seem less like your own fault for the stuff you face in life. Men are an easy target because of the traditional gender roles that have existed for tens of thousands of years. Even with all the strides that have been made in the name of equality it's still not enough. You can evidence those changes to counter any 'patriarchy' comments made about the west but all you'll get back is insults and headline throwing as they lose the argument (wage gap etc, beauty standard etc).

As a woman, I myself have said "I hate men" on more than one occasion. That isn't true of course, I don't hate men. I just hate that in 2023 we still have women being harassed, bullied, and threatened by men every day and that number of men doing it is only growing.

With the popularity of men like andrew state who has literally compared women to sandwiches and thinks if you're not a size 0 you're not a woman, women are fearing the male backlash.

I used to twitch with my cousin,a male. He maybe got one or two insults for his gaming maybe once or twice a day. I on the other hand, was attacked for my gaming, my set up, my age, my weight, my hair, and my appearance. Women are sick and tired of being bullied by certain types of men and so hence came the phrase "I hate men".

Please try putting yourselves in our shoes. Its not all women, just like its not all men.

Feminism is the fight for equality, what about that upsets you? I just don't understand this logic at all. Also where are you seeing this? I feel like unless that's what you're seeking out it's not at all common to see anything even close to what you're claiming. They want equal pay, not the awful things you're insinuating. Also does it make you feel an inflated sense of importance to refer to people with derogatory slurs? What do you get out of that?
