The imdb seems to have it down:

An intense rape scene is shown at the end of the film whereby a man is handcuffed to a bed and a woman is on top of him.

As mentioned above (see "Sex & Nudity" for more details), a man who has handcuffed himself to a bed is raped (for lack of a better term) by a woman (not so much violent but disturbing, especially given the fact this is a comedy).

Yes I've used this film as an example before and as you say not only does Josh Hartnet's character get raped (and in the process fails in his mission which the entire film has been about), and raped in a manner which makes it obvious it isn't his fault at all, but he is forced to apologise to his girlfriend for it.

Does this prove that society does not believe women can rape?

No for that you'd cite eg the FBI's definition of rape where women can't rape men, or the CDC's NISVS definition of rape where women can't rape men.

This movie just shows that movie producers feel that women are totally narcissistic and want to have men apologise to them and fawn over them even when it's 100% clear that the man is not at fault (or that the woman is the one at fault, or both). It's the idea of the man pursuing the woman, combined with a more modern idea that to be romantic the man has to humiliate himself and bow and scrape and beg forgiveness. So if there's nothing to forgive, the man has to beg anyway. If there's any disagreement at all then the man has to eat crow. Women are ALWAYS in the right. And there's always a disagreement in a romantic comedy because true love or whatever has to have some obstacles thrown in the way so they can be overcome. Usually these obstacles are scripted as the man being an asshole to his gf so he has to win her back. But sometimes its not scripted as his fault; he just has to beg for forgiveness anyway. As if changing one part of the script around had no effect on the other.

Wow, I've not seen this move ever and now I've just seen the most blatant depiction of a woman raping a man ever. The fact that she laughed about she did .... made me angry about the double standard that was portrayed in this movie. I feel the need to go vomit after watching that.

Let's not forget Wedding Crashers, where we have:

1) Isla Fisher's character trying to have sex with Vince Vaugn's while tending to his wounds despite his protests.

2) Isla Fisher's character giving Vince Vaughn's a handjob at the dinner table, against his will and to his embarrassment.

3) Isla Fisher's character tying Vince Vaughn's to the bed and then having sex with him despite his protests, citing it as being adventurous and playing out his fantasies.

4) Jane Seymour's character blackmailing Owen Wilson's into fondling her breasts, only to then feign a rebuff to inflict guilt/confusion on his part.

And it's all supposed to be funny and/or titillating, and even the man's fault.

Just like IRL, no one cares about males being raped. Parasympathetic responses in the form of uncontrolled erections and vaginal lubrication have been the downfall of both male and female victims...who then must endure a lifetime of wondering why their body betrayed them when they were at their least vulnerable.

I have a friend who was raped, and her vagina got wet and she orgasmed during the assault. Imagine the trauma of having to deal with that. I was raped by envelopment while drunk after my 21st birthday party. I did not orgasm, and managed to throw the woman off of me after waking up in the middle of it. No one cares. I have two male friends that have similar experiences and they understand, but no one else gives a shit.

So what do you do? You carry on with living, with no help or support available because society doesn't give a fuck.

There is a TV show called 'True Blood' it's a vampire thing. I downloaded the 4th (current) season for a neighbor who was a fan and had been unable to watch it, and I witnessed the following:

A man brings food and supplies to an impoverished village. Children rip at the meat he has in his truck. They lead him to a large freezer in a barn type structure, it is not cold. He looks inside, and they shove him in and lock it. He is taken from the freezer at some later time unconscious, and chained 4 points to a bed. He is fed alcohol and Viagra through a funnel. He is raped by a female who mounts him as he lays there, shes some type of were cat thingy.

Prime time TV.

There is a scene the film Super where the main female character forces herself on a half awake main male character.

He doen't want to but doesn't stop her and afterwards they just kinda carry on as if nothing had happened.

Super is a film I liked for numerous reasons but this scene did seem a bit out of the blue. It's like James Gunn decided that having the stereotypical "she goes to kiss him and he stops her or backs off" type scene wasn't extreme or "crazy" enough for the film.

In the context of a dark comedy that swings into extreme and ridiculous stuff it does sort of fit, but I doubt if the genders were reversed it would have been used.
