Seems like a good idea, takes the “it’s ok to be white” and combines it with “all lives matter” in a way that I think will be very effective.

Just think of verified journalists trying to explain that the future isn’t equal, it’s female.

Ah! I believe this is about my comment thread! As a gal, and as I stated, egalitarianism is about mindset and feminism is about action towards specific idea within egalitarianism. I get that feminism has “female” within the name. I have no issues with changing the word. I’ll 100% hop on board if that makes a difference for equality! Does that solve the underlying issues that are seen within the movement though? Is it about the words or actions? Genuinely curious what you all think!

Women should not speak on behalf of other woman as if the majority of women would agree with her. Some women believe it is about equality. Some women believe it is about fairness. Most women do not address racial marginalization, which is another topic all together. So women sufferage was for ALL. No it was not. 1920's folks, thete was no ALL. There are a lot of variations to women that do not make the cause ALL inclusive. This is unfortunate. Until women can get a grip on these various issues, then women will continue to talk in circles around each other. Is there a consensus? If you follow new age arguments, which do not speak to the struggle of ALL women, nor are the struggles reflective or experienced as the gains made from the past. Furthermore, it silences men. I love Planned Parenthood but if they come to a high school class again talking about #1 a females parents do not need to know she is 15 and pregnant. (You see the issue here? It is actually disempowering. The empowerment piece is for Planned P to say. Yes, you have rights to your body, and as a minor. Please discuss with your guardian or parents, if you are able to. They do not do this. They automaticalky say your parents do not have to know nor #2 does the father.) If a female has the audacity at any age to sleep with a male, then she should be bold enough to tell him, no matter his response. And she should at least hear what he has to say. It is called values. So Planned P should be talking aboit how do you discuss intercourse with your sex partner. Do you discuss with your guardian or parents? Which is no longer taught at home. Roe vs. Wade was not intended to exclude men or parents. It was to make sure women had options and knew she had a right to make choices about her body due to too many back ally abortions and other reasons. I can go on. So again, for some women its about fairness, or equality, etc.

The older I'm getting the more evident to me it's becoming that true egalitarianism simply isn't a possibility. Men and women will always treat each other differently. I won't by flowers and chocolates for my best friend, just as I wouldn't buy a beer and video games for my wife. Men and women are different and that will never change.

It sounds Marxist and will be construed and promoted as such. The feminine/Marxist ideal is equality of result while the masculine/Republican one is equality of opportunity (and since people are different will lead to inequality of result).

And then deviating from the pure equality of result you have the feminist promotion of favoritism towards women (feminism is "womanism" and is the promotion of the collective self-interest of women).

As the half-lie is better than a full lie (that part of it that is true inducing you to believe the part of it that isn't) feminists demand equality of result in any sphere where men have a real or imagined advantage. In areas where women have the advantage they say nothing or try to increase their advantage even more.

For example, there are something like 16 men in prison for every woman; have you every heard a feminist demand equal numbers of women in prison? Women live about 5 years longer than men; have you ever heard a feminist demand that the health care of men be improved so that they can live as long as women?
