Such a mood. I am so happy because lately guys have stopped approaching me in public. They stare and some practically break their necks to see me, but the thing is I just act like they don't exist. I avoid eye contact and try to stay away from the area that they are in and I just focus on what I am there for: picking up groceries or mailing stuff, etc. Some younger guys were obnoxious and kept talking about me and encouraged the one dude to "go approach her and ask for her number" and they chickened out. They started then talking about their rock business and boasting loudly about how much money they were making, I think hoping that I'd approach them. But I literally act like they don't exist and they leave me alone.

A random guy told me once I was pretty and I just flatly said thanks and he broke into a rant how I should smile more when people compliment me. I told him I don’t value other people’s opinions about my appearance. I am not just a body for you to ogle at. He was so confused. Argh. Scrotes.

"Ladies"? Really? I don't get the continued use of this demeaning term in this sub. "Ladies" refers to comportment - "be a lady," "act more ladylike," and is demeaning. Women is the preferred term. Why is this still an issue here?
