The strange thing to me about this whole double-standard, isn't just that it's entirely based on a systematic fear/disdain of male sexuality and glorification of female sexuality but that if you take female privilege into consideration I actually find it worse when it's women doing it.

For one, women actually do have much easier time finding sexual partners, which means that for them to actually even entertain the idea of soliciting a teen, it would have to be considerably more deliberate. They have other options, with appropriately aged men, but would deliberately choose to turn down those options in favour of a teen. It would have to be considerably more premeditated, compared to men who would probably be a lot more likely to do it out of desperation.

Looking at the teens themselves, girls would also usually be a lot more experienced than boys their age. Which not only means that they would also have other alternatives with boys their own age but also more experience. Boys in this situation would be far more vulnerable to older women, because they would be be less experienced, and more desperate than girls their age.

There is an obvious sexual power dynamic that systematically privileges and empowers women over men, which makes their behaviour seem far more predatory to me.

Even if the police took this seriously, the courts are so sexist in their approach, she would get off with a slap on the wrist. These laws were designed to protect children from sexual predators, but the sexist pigs in our legal system only see the sex of the offender.
