I once heard a saying:

"Dating for men is like trying to find drinking water in a desert. Dating for women is like trying to find drinking water in a swamp".

Browsing the tinder subreddit made me realize that even if the average woman has A LOT more matches than the average man on a dating app, quality =/= quantity.

I just think there are a lot of mental health issues like DPDR or depression that many of them suffer with and don't realize their thinking is distorted. Many of them haven't attended therapy and sometimes have the resulting disconnected thoughts and beliefs, then that's projected out towards the things that confound them the most.

I'm a fairly shy and nerdy girl and even when a guy and I are totally hitting it off, I still struggle with opening up. We're not always these perfect beings that don't struggle with anything. Like maybe men and women don't have the same problems, but they're are still overlap issues we can resonate with and heal each other together with. Red Pill is very unrealistic for most.

Yeah the lack of empathy is frustrating. Men see women getting chased after and think wow I wish I had that. They associate high levels of interest as desirability in themselves. What they don't realise women are rarely persued for who they are, it's not that the women is desirable in herself, its that the man wants something from her. It's the equivalent of a shark chasing blood in the water, doesn't matter where it comes from, and all it means is lunch is served. I have heard men say any hole's a goal. So the guy who said that coming on to me is in no way flattering, I'm just a goal he's trying to score.

At the same time I can see that for men they rarely get spoken about as objects of desire. My partner was shocked the first time I told him he was sexy as he'd never had anyone ever say it to him before. And that's sad as well.

I just wish there could be an in-between space where women were seen as people and we could more openly compliment men.

Agree, I’ve never felt like I had it easy and I am a woman in her “prime” according to the red pill (I’m 23). I have noticed a lot of people being interested in me solely based on knowing my age and looks, but that doesn’t mean much, since they would be just as “interested” in any other girl fitting that criteria. As for personality, I haven’t found a lot of men all that interested in me, I also found out I have quite a different personality to many of them. I can’t really imagine the opposite, never having people interested in you because of how you look, but what I can say from this side, superficial attention based solely on looks doesn’t mean much, it’s not a good foundation for a meaningful relationship and it doesn’t make finding one easier. For women with lose self esteem like I used to be, this attention from people without genuine intentions can in fact prevent them from finding a meaningful relationship.

A lot of these men don’t see the women outcasts of society because these women are invisible to them. Literally

They only see the women they see as slightly conventionally attractive and above. Any woman below that is literally invisible to them.

So they go their entire life thinking that every woman has it easy ... because those are the only women they see ... the ones who have it easy. All other women are ignored

I think that when guys projects this thoughts on other women, it shows that they have a bad self view as a man.

Man should not be searching for "how many guys" other people are dating.

It's because the people who are saying this see women as objects. So in their mind, women have only to be an object. They see themselves as subjects, and subjects have agency. They do things. They have responsibilities. So suddenly they have to do all this stuff, while women get to just be objects.

I mean, it depends on one's goal. Many red pill guys are just looking for one night stands. If you're a women and you want a one night stand, it is not hard to achieve. If you're a man, it's much harder to achieve. But it is more risky and dangerous if you're a women

In terms of finding a compatible partner for a long term relationship, everybody has it hard.
