This is why "innocent until PROVEN guilty" is so important. It may be hard for actual victims to come forward, but it's incredibly easy for people who weren't victims to come forward with lies, and if we decided to "believe women" without evidence this will only become more common.

Although Brown has a well-established history of domestic violence, the existence of this evidence is devastating to all of his accusers. I’d go as far as to say that the “victim” in this case did a grave disservice for all accusers, everywhere. I’ll be seriously disappointed if the apologist crowd tries to spin this as an example of her reframing the incident as a result of her trauma or anything other than it obviously is — clearly exculpatory evidence that indicates malicious intent to frame Brown of sexual assault.
