It seems that there is a more ideology from people in dating to date within your race, date within your age group, or if you're autistic for example, date autistic people, so everyone in those groups has a chance and things are balanced out more fairly.

But I wonder if this is do-able or even practical because since a lot of us agree that dating is tough and pickings are slim, sometimes people just fall for, and click with, someone in a different group, and vice versa.

So I wonder if staying in your lane creates more balance in the dating world, or does it disrupt it even more therefore? I think it disrupts it more, and that it's too challenging to stay in your own group, but what do you think?
