You know, this is a really good point. Women who are promiscuous are glorified as “reclaiming their sexuality” and “breaking old stereotypes” yet if a man even has an impure thought, he is a pervert, creep, potential rapist, and many other negative things.

I might get down voted for saying this, but I don't care. I'm a highly perverted woman who loves to draw smut, and outside the online realm, I get flattered when men tell me when they meet me in person that I'm attractive. In anime, I always seek out the "cute pervert" and latch onto him. Examples are Carrot from Sorcerer Hunters, Miroku from Inuyasha, and Sanji from One Piece.

Why? So why is there such an obsession to hate men? Especially cishet men?

Regardless of what anyone says, it is a fact that our media very much so shapes our society and many get manipulated by what is put out.

To better get a grasp on this societal brainwashing, look to studies on psychology and TV and media and you'll find the name Edward Bernays popping up. Who is he? Well, he is the rather questionable nephew of Sigmund Freud.

One of the most recent films of female vs male, was the Barbie movie. Which I saw with a male friend as a certain comic book creator actually recommended his fans to go see. And let me tell you guys the film tried so hard to cover up its misandrist overtones (and others I don't align with but won't go into), however, I saw right through it. Now I'd be lying if I didn't say I enjoyed it. Margot Robbie was great, but Ryan Gosling "Ken" stole the show and this made a lot of people upset making the character of Ken himself into an object of chaos usurping Barbie herself. And yeah, Ken is king. Pissing off a bunch of feminists because a lot of men related to Ken. Ken pretty much became the avatar for men appealing to the MRA/MGTOW movement. Awesome chaos. 💜🤣

So anyway, before I ramble on more, I want to wrap up this long post of mine by saying this:

you are what you see yourself as, and who you want to be, and fuck anyone else who tries to change that perception of yourself.

As long as you are not hurting anyone or yourself, that's all that matters at the end of the day. Anyone who thinks otherwise can go fuck themselves. Especially the media.
