I won't lie to you man, being 5'7 and Indian may not be as preferable to some as say someone who is white and 6'1 like myself. But guess what? I'm not everyone's type. A chef may cook the most perfect meal going, but someone will still hate it because it has a certain ingredient.

Like the other dude said, I would put it down to the lack of social skills. The only way this will improve is with exposure. Go out with friends more, join likeminded people with hobbies or events, install a dating app to sharpen your texting (don't fully rely on the apps though). Do something that will expose you to a social situation and gets you talking to people.

You're in control of your destiny. If you're happy with your current situation, then by all means do nothing and complain. But if you want to change then you're going to have to get out of your confort zone.

I know this might be counterintuitive and controversial in the board but I would focus on your race, lower value women and use that as a stepping stone to scale from there. You haven't had any sort of game in 10 years and your self esteem is just negative, women can see through that in a heartbeat, the chances of you hitting jackpot are minimal if not non-existent.

In high school I had crushes on the small nerdy Indian guys but I’m black and I feel like usually most ethnicities of men focus on white women. It’s even pushed in media.

Now I’m older hand have a different type of man I’m interested in. My point is there are women out there but you need to work on your seduction technique. Personality and charm is a man’s best asset. Speaking as an 5’7 East Asian. I don’t find it hard to find a date, white woman even. I do take care of my appearance, not insanely hot but somewhat conventionally attractive and fit, I also can handle myself pretty well socially.

The key is I can make people laugh and I don’t take myself too seriously. When you can do that, height and race matters lot less than you think.
