I would just treat it like it's not a thing bc it's not. "Somebody hit on me in the gym today." "Oh nice, how was that?." She'll follow up w/"So awkward haha." "Yeah I bet."Or something along those lines. And if she goes the other route of saying she liked it or whatever, then deuces.

All of you have it wrong. She's telling him about it, to be honest. "This dude hit on me". She acknowledged this happened, she told him up front, now she doesn't carry it around and feel guilty some stupid shit happened. Been there. I tell my boyfriend every time I get hit on, then we laugh about it. I don't need reassurance, and I'm certainly not telling him to make him jealous. It's 100% honesty.

There's no reason to be butthurt about this (not sure if you are or not). This is a very minor thing / non-issue. Just say whatever and move on:

"Oh yeah interesting. I usually avoid hitting on girls at the gym."

"Oh that's too bad, maybe the next guy will be less weird"

"Oh cool, you must be working out right if guys are hitting on you."

I feel like fighting people for hitting on your girl should've been left in high school. We're adults.

The goal here is to show that you're not only mature but you also wouldn't give into your own ego and have boundaries layed out from the start.
