So you don’t want anyone who is actively pursuing you because you want to do the pursuing. You also don’t want the men who would want to be pursued because they are all too submissive for you.
So you want someone who is dominant but willing to be “hunted” by you. Who is interested in you but doesn’t want to pursue you.
I don’t see how that works out at all.

Are you saying dominant men are impossible to approach? Why?
[–]toebob 35 points36 points37 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I’m saying that if a dominant person is interested in you then they are likely to pursue you. According to you, pursuing you disqualifies them. So you want someone who is interested in you and is bold enough to pursue you, but for some reason doesn’t pursue you.
That seems like a tiny potential pool to me.
[–]_SAKE 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link
To be the dominant one in a relationship, you need to have the option to over power the other person.
Dominant men know, for a fact, you couldn’t over power them. So for them to be interested in you, you have to submit, because they know, if you and them were in a fight to the death, they could force you to submit. We just don’t have time to go to jail just to prove every misinformed female wrong.

It's not just a physical thing. It's also social dominance, career, money, etc...these guys KNOW they are in a dominant position in life, they have their choice of women, so as you state, these men aren't about to have an argument every time or essentially submit to her when they don't have to. Only submissive men would
[–]gmilfmoneymilk -3 points-2 points-1 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link
Why do they need to power over me? That's not what I want. Every queen deserves a king. We can rule together.

Why do they need to power over me?
Human nature.
That's not what I want.
Believe it or not, everything isn't about you... especially in a relationship. You aren't a queen or any form of royalty and queens are MADE when a king selects them. She is elevated by the king choosing her. There's no ruling together, either.

Is your idea of "we can rule together" & the notion that maybe he doesn't need to "power over" you based on an actual successful relationship you have observed up close between two strong people... or is it based on something like a "power couple" you've seen only from a distance (like a celebrity husband and wife couple) - where we do not actually know what their dynamic is like in how they relate and interact with each other?
Because with the "power couple" where we see the lady being super strong and impressive publicly... for all we know, it could be that the reason the relationship works behind closed doors involves the fact that she loves being able to relax into her feminine with her guy, and she appreciates the fact that she's with a man who can be trusted to make the plans, handle snafus that come up, and lead things in a direction they both will enjoy.
That last paragraph is basically the picture of things between my lil' honey and me. When I met her, she was an impressive civil engineer - youngest thing at the work cite, the only female, and the one in charge of all the men.
She was clearly winning in her work life.
But what made her successful in her dating life was that she... well, basically everything I have stated to you (above in this comment and also on the other thread you and I have been chatting on) relating to a woman in her feminine energy.
[–]gmilfmoneymilk -2 points-1 points0 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Ok but how do I relax into feminine if most men are less competent than me?
[–]DaydreamingMister 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Haha Good question.
I do NOT think the answer is that you just have to be okay with accepting a man who seems like a weeny to you...
If you don't respect a man, you probably will never be able to love him.
But I do think two things you will need for success are -
a) Patience for the fact that dating unfortunately comes with no guarantee of speed for running across an amazing partner for long term relationship. (As much as we all hate it, sometimes the period of waiting for a great connection to click can feel like eternity.)
b) Like I keep suggesting, you def need to be what a masculine man is looking for, in terms of femininity.
How's it gonna be for you when you finally DO run across someone who can be trusted to be the leader? Are you gonna struggle to let go of control and submit, since you never really did that before?
[–]gmilfmoneymilk 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I think I'd be ok with being led in some regards and leading in others. I could see a mutually complementary relationship being more rewarding than a supplementary one where one person leads and the other follows.
Just because someone is dominant doesn't mean they're competent in everything. I know where my faults lie so I'd be looking for someone to lead on those aspects in which I cannot contribute best in the relationship. Relationships are give and take so I would like an equilibrium.
I think having someone as strong as me is integral to my security as I need someone who will be as driven both professionally and in the relationship in order to realistically attain a true equilibrium.
I find a struggle with neediness with those not as driven as I am and do not understand my work schedule or the demands of my job as I cannot fulfill the time commitment of a regular partner with a regular 9-5 job.
I can't imagine myself being happy taking control at work and at home all the time for every god damn thing. With that said, there are some things I know I'm best at than most and I won't take a back seat for it for the sake of some kind of dynamic.
I appreciate you actually asking me what I'm expecting as most people are just writing this off as impossible.
[–]DaydreamingMister 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Not impossible. And no, him being the leader doesn't mean he simply must take the lead on every single thing in the life you two share.
I like your chances. All the best to ya!

They are possible to approach but not used to be. Maybe you should see being approach as victory aswell, being approach means that someone finds you beautiful, don't know how that's a turnoff. You just have the wrong mindset. If you have 2 dominant people in a relationship, often that doesn't end well. It's like putting 2 agressive pitbulls in same cage. Try to date submissive men or change your behavior with dominant men. You being dominant can be a big turnoff for them aswell.
[–]gmilfmoneymilk -5 points-4 points-3 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Being approached isn't a compliment when it happens all the time. It's fucking annoying. I'm not into submissive men.
[–]ExnyerlawyerinFL 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Do you see that you are constructing a prison for yourself? I’m a firm believer that this is the #1 self destructive behavior and I do it too (I am attracted to women who are remote and difficult when I want closeness - I choose women who are wired not to give what I seek.) It’s like the 3 bears but no porridge is just right, only too hot or too cold. It’s annoying to be approached so you rule out men who approach you (seems there are plenty) and you demand the thrill of the chase and capture. I’m not saying you can’t find a man who is strong and dominant to pursue and catch, but it seems you are defining your must haves in a way that limits your options for success.
Yes we know that

With respect may be a really nice person yet generally most men prefer a feminine woman over say a woman with career type masculine dominant traits. Because woman in authority/ roles usually have difficulty turning off from their professional careers. Hence the reason why you are getting submissive men.
Seems like best going for a older gentleman who is a higher earner and likes dominant woman. Unless wrong and you dress girly and can be genuine feminine outside of workplace. Maybe consider asking the guys who you were interested in what they thought about you, good to get honest feedback. Consider a matchmaker so your looking with serious intention to have relationship with right men who qualify. Good luck to you.

To be clear, I have men trying to pursue me, but I'm a hunter and I like grabbing my own catches. Being chased is a turn off for me. That victory has to be mine. I find that I'm drawing only submissive men which is not what I'm interested in. I'm looking for men like myself.

I mean, you are likely answering your own question here.
Men are pursuing you but you're screening those guys out.
Though it's a little unclear whether you're screening out any guy who simply initiates or makes moves?
If you're screening out all guys who pursue you, then that's only going to leave you with the submissive ones.
2
I'm not looking to change myself....
You're not going to get different results unless you change something. That doesn't mean you have to change who you are as a person.
Like it or not, if you're not getting the results you like in social interactions, that tracks back to your social skills. Which means that there's room for improvement there that you apparently haven't identified yet.
3
EDIT: I've seen some bits in the thread here where you mentioned that you get numbers and such but then it fizzles out after that.
Once things go to online interactions, it's easy for this to happen unless one of the two people is actively setting up a meet.
The answer might be stirring you in the face: one of you has to suggest hanging out or it's not going to happen and you'll become online pen pals.
Doesn't need to be complicated: "Hey I'm going to location XYZ to do activity ABC.... You're welcome to join me."
[–]gmilfmoneymilk 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link
How do I know of it's an activity they're going to like if I don't know them?
[–]Moderatorrecyclablebanthas 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
I'm not suggesting to open someone you've never talked to and immediately suggesting a meet. Of course, you should interact and get to know them a little first.
And once you've done that and know you'd like to hang out with them, again, there's no need to make this complicated. Invite people to get a drink, grab some food, get coffee, etc. Beverages and/or food or snacks is easy. The point is to have an excuse to hang out and get to know them, not pick some perfect activity.
During early meetups, you'll be talking to them. You've said yourself that you like to get people talking. That kind of mindset makes it easy to steer the conversation towards what they're interested in, but more importantly, towards what makes them tick.
When getting at what makes them tick, follow up questions that get at their emotions (how they felt about something) or motivations (why they did something), are very important.

What if I can't do food or drinks or coffee? I'm on a really strict diet and I don't drink or use caffeine.
I've offered to work out or do outdoorsy stuff with them but people are so lazy.
[–]Moderatorrecyclablebanthas 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago* (8 children) | Copy Link
The coffee comment was more of a euphemism. I don't drink coffee either but there are usually other kinds of beverages available at coffee shops.
Are you on a diet that's so strict that you can't go out at all?
Is there a reason why you can't meet up to do some kind of food or drink as long as you're able to find something except for your body?
No one's worth spending time on will care if you have dietary restrictions and if they do, then that's a good way to screen douchebags out
I've offered to work out....
This is something that you might do with a close friend, not someone you're just getting to know. It's not really a great activity for getting to know someone.
And even when you are familiar with someone, this isn't always the best thing. I can count on one hand the number of people I would ever invite to come with me when I work out. That kind of thing is often pretty personal for people.
....or do outdoorsy stuff with them but people are so lazy.
You can always do a search on Facebook for groups related to hiking and the like. There are groups that regularly meet to do these kinds of things.
What kinds of outdoorsy things have you been suggesting that people have turned down? And what have they said when they actually turned those things down?
[–]gmilfmoneymilk 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
Yes. I prefer not eating with other people unless it's work or family related. Finding food I can eat in the wild is a very difficult feat so I generally eat by myself.
Understood.
Usually canoeing and hiking. I might invite someone to camp. I'm pretty competent in all of these things. "No thanks"
[–]Moderatorrecyclablebanthas 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
I prefer not eating with other people unless it's work or family related. Finding food I can eat in the wild is a very difficult feat so I generally eat by myself.
That's a shame: the food isn't even the point. It's the conversation and food/drink is really just the excuse to be in the same place.
If you've found a place that has anything you like, then that would make it a possible place to invite someone to hang.
Just a heads-up: If you're always turning down invitations to meet up for food, drinks, or coffee shop, then that's going to strike people as a bit strange.
Usually canoeing and hiking.
Early meet ups are generally better as casual things which are flexible enough that people could hang out for 30-60 minutes and bail if things aren't going well, or stay longer if things do go well.
That's why I suggested the food or drink option. You can start with a small something and chat until it's gone. Then either of you can stay or go with flexibility. There's a reason why people suggest this kind of meetup for business.
Similar to workouts at the gym, canoeing doesn't come off as exactly a casual thing.
We're talking about something that comes with a built-in block of time and complexity attached to it. Canoeing is not a flexible thing. It comes with rigid requirements in terms of time commitment which are perfectly fine once you've gotten to know someone but awkward if you haven't yet.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that the hikes you've been suggesting have also been proposed in places which would make them a more serious time commitment. Not like a walk in the park or some other convenient location?
If you were a dude making these suggestions, I would suggest that these are even kind of creepy things to be opening with as early meetups. As it is, these suggestions come off as awkward and inconvenient at best.
I might invite someone to camp.
Again, same thing. This is a more serious commitment and involves hanging out overnight with someone you just met. That's too much. People wanting to get to know someone are looking for something that's a short activity that could be comfortably extended if things are going well.
Camping is for someone that you already get along with pretty well.
4
I'm pretty competent in all of these things.
Competency is not or shouldn't be the deciding factor in how you choose a thing.
Again, for early meetups, something that's easy, convenient, and casual is ideal. It's not about showing competency.
5
"No thanks"
This is about what I would expect for the kinds of things you're suggesting.
Also, at least some of the issues you're having with dudes probably stem from social skill issues.
The fact that you're suggesting all these really in optimal meetup activities and haven't picked up on why you've been shooting yourself on the foot indicates that you're not picking up on social cues or simply haven't cared to.
6
Suggesting one-on-one hikes may not be a great thing, but if you really did want to go for a hike to get to know people, then you might look up some hiking groups or hiking meetups.
There are people who actively seek out hikes and socializing with people on a hike in a group setting is easier and more casual.
[–]gmilfmoneymilk 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
So what is there to do besides eating or drinking that's casual? A walk in a park sounds so boring.
[–]Moderatorrecyclablebanthas 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
So what is there to do besides eating or drinking that's casual?
I mean, getting food or beverages is really is the low hanging fruit here.
There's a reason why it's the easy go-to meetup for both casual people and business meetings.
A walk in a park sounds so boring.
I have said the point is not the activity itself. The activity or whatever the meetup is, is just an excuse to hang out with the other person and get to know them.
It's that conversation which is supposed to be the interesting part. Everything else is just window dressing.
There's literally so many combinations of things that are casual and flexible. It does seriously limit the possibilities if a simple meetup at a restaurant or cafe is completely off the table.
The fact that none of this seems to have occurred to you (?) indicates that your social skills outside of a business setting might be an area for improvement.
I'm kind of curious here. You said that you go out to eat or to get drinks with family or for business.
Assuming that you have found venues which satisfy your needs where you can go with family or to meet for business, why is it impossible to then go to those same venues for a casual meetup?
All we're talking about here is finding an excuse to be in the same place with someone. An excuse that's not weird and that gives people the flexibility to leave if it's not going well.
4: Some Examples
I'm not sure if this would help, but here are some examples which include my mindset when suggesting some of the things I've talked about.
Example 1: I don't drink coffee. But I have met people repeatedly at cafes. I have found some over the years that have really comfortable seating and really nice lighting.
Even outdoor seating with some privacy from trees. Those have been my go-to places when I want to get to know someone. I have a drink that I don't mind getting at those cafes. So that's what I order when I go there.
The point is not the coffee or the food. It's a comfortable place to sit and get to know someone. Getting the food and/or drink or drinks is really just a courtesy because you're using the seats at someone's business.
Example 2: There are some bars I know that also have comfortable seating and good lighting. Sometimes I invite people I want to get to know for a drink, ostensibly to hang out for a bit before I am supposed to go do something else.
(This would be something that's actually low commitment like going to a weekly event held by a group. Something that will happen just fine with or without me but that I enjoy going to.)
If things go really well, I will cancel going to the next thing and hang out with the person longer.
If things are not going well, I will politely bow out and continue on with the thing I already planned to go to.

Is there anything besides food or drink that can be done? Guys like outdoor stuff. What if we were to like chop firewood together instead? Tend my garden (or his) together or show him my bee hive? A scenic walk in the woods on an unknown, untouched trail? A trip to the library?
Also, are we supposed to be going dutch on the first date? I'm happy to buy food and not eat it but people get mad when I do that and they're paying.
The problem with a walk in the park is that there's nothing to work with. "Oh look at this paved road we're walking on" and "oh look this bench was donated by the Smith family" are not great ways of getting to know each other.
I do lunches and dinners because I have to. I refuse food otherwise. I simply hate the idea of buying food I can make at home, it seems pointless. I also can't cook at home because I'm married.
[–]recyclablebanthas1 point 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
Is there anything besides food or drink that can be done?
I don't know the area where you are so I couldn't really say.
The main idea is that initial meetups which are flexible and don't require a huge time commitment, are best.
If you're going to cut out food and drink, then you are making things unnecessarily difficult.
Guys like outdoor stuff.
This is an inaccurate generalization. You really can't see this about all guys. At all.
Plus, as I mentioned, a lot of outdoor things like the ones you mentioned require a time commitment which makes the event not casual anymore and way more difficult to pull off as an initial meetup.
People are going to be less likely to consider an initial meetup which requires them to spend hours with someone they don't know yet, with no option to eject if things are not going well.
What if we were to like chop firewood together instead?
If you seriously considered this, then you definitely need to develop better social awareness.
Do you really think that someone you don't know is going to jump at the chance to do manual labor? This is pretty random.
Tend my garden (or his) together or show him my bee hive?
Weirdly too intimate as an initial meetup. Like by a country mile, way too personal.
A scenic walk in the woods on an unknown, untouched trail?
Again, this fails the flexibility and convenience test.
Going to an unknown or untouched trail reads as something which would require a very specific block of time, probably like 3 hours with no option to opt out if things are going badly.
Maybe if you already got along well with someone, then this is obviously fine.
A trip to the library?
This is a bit odd also. Libraries are places of quiet and study. And even though it's quiet, it's oddly very public, with no privacy.
7
Also, are we supposed to be going dutch on the first date?
There's no "supposed to." It's more about what kind of interactions you're looking for.
When you don't know someone very well, a lot of people assume that they're going to be going Dutch in that situation. But on the other hand, some people like to pay for everything or have things paid for them.
8
I'm happy to buy food and not eat it but people get mad when I do that and they're paying.
I mean, you probably shouldn't let someone pay for you if you're not going to eat the food. You probably also shouldn't go to a place that doesn't serve food that you can eat.
Sidenote: It still seems a bit odd; haven't you been able to find some places which can cater food which fulfills your requirements? Or are you legitimately unable to eat or drink anything you can find anywhere in any public establishment?
I ask this because I have known a lot of people with tremendous dietary restrictions and they always had places that they could go where they could order things on the menu, so that's where they went. Have you honestly never found places that serve things you can eat/ drink?
Or is the issue that you don't want to be seen in public if you are dating outside your marriage?
9
The problem with a walk in the park is that there's nothing to work with....not great ways of getting to know each other.
No one who goes to the park is commenting things like what you've mentioned. You talk to the person about who they are and what they're up to and things that make them tick. That doesn't change no matter where you are.
Are you really this unaccustomed to making conversation with people?
10
I simply hate the idea of buying food I can make at home, it seems pointless.
Again, the point is not that you could make it at home.
The point is having an excuse to go sit down with someone for a little bit and talk with them. Just because you could make the same thing at home has absolutely nothing to do with the utility of it from a social perspective.
It seems like you are unintentionally making everything difficult for yourself here.
11
I also can't cook at home because I'm married.
This is a pretty big detail to have left out of your post until now. Is this an open marriage or does they have no idea?
[–]gmilfmoneymilk1 point 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
So you're saying it's cool to get food or drink and not eat it if I pay for it?
And nothing you've implied, I just refuse to be seen eating food unless it's for business purposes. I'm a skinny person with a reputation. I enjoy the otherworldly/prestigious asthetic of never eating despite food being in front of me and making my employer pay for it. It's a power move that I cannot use as leverage in a date as those I date are not in the entertainment industry. It makes me confused as to what to do with food in that arrangement.
Can I go to a coffee shop and order tap water?
I'm OMAD and I eat at 430am after my workout. I look fantastic. I'm not going to change that just to meet people.
The problem with public is that other people can see you and if you don't have all the Intel then you could embarrass yourself based on his reputation.
Also you've never just like stopped by a buddy's house to chop firewood or to see their garden? How do I test then physically to ensure they will have adequate endurance for sex?
And lol most of my social contact is through my work but I work 60-70 hour weeks.
How do I grab someone off the internet to skip the food/drink portion?
I'm not sure why it took you this long to explain that you eat one meal in the middle of the night and subscribe to a very specific, restrictive eating pattern.
And honestly, a lot of what you've laid out over the course of our exchange is stuff that you should have put in the original post. Like the fact that you're married and are on the OMAD diet.
These are absolutely huge details to have left out and you've kind of rendered most of this thread useless to yourself as a result.
I just refuse to be seen eating food.... It's a power move that I cannot use as leverage in a date.....
You have made a number of very specific choices and imposed a number of very specific restrictions upon yourself. These restrictions are related to why you are having so much trouble finding a secondary partner.
Let's run down the list:
A.) You are currently on the OMAD diet and you scheduled your one meal in the middle of the night when most people are going to be asleep.
B.) You are looking for something very specific (a secondary partner) which alone will narrow the field of candidates.
C.) It's taken an extremely long time for you to really lay a number of important cards out on the table here.
D.) Your concern for your public reputation may further limit what kinds of meetups you are willing to consider.
E ) You screen guys out if they are actually pursuing you.
F.) You have a really heavy work week in addition to maintaining a marriage with your primary partner.
G.) You've expressed a lack of willingness to adapt or change anything.
All of these things are your choices and of course they are valid, but there are some limitations that come with these choices.
To put it bluntly, Everything you're bringing to the table right now is the reason why you are getting the exact results you're getting.
Hanging out with you at all requires a lot of effort but you are screening out the guys who would be most likely to put in that effort. (The guys who are actually pursuing you.)
Many guys who'd be willing to put in the degree of work needed, would not likely do so, just to be a secondary partner.
Most of the guys who'd be willing to put in the workforce secondary partner are likely put off by how complicated it is to put those initial meetups together.
And if you are requiring this secondary partner to commit to you exclusively, then this isn't even more impossible task, seeking a truly impossible unicorn.
Also you've never just like stopped by a buddy's house to chop firewood or to see their garden?
It's possible that you've been married long enough that you have forgotten what getting to know someone normally entails?
Inviting someone you're getting to know over to look at a garden is random and weird to most people who aren't grandmothers. It could also be interpreted as you looking for free labor if you mention working on the garden as well.
Inviting someone you're getting to know over to chop firewood would be even more likely to come off like you're looking for free labor, which is crass and a turn off.
How do I test then physically to ensure they will have adequate endurance for sex?
Someone could be just stellar at chopping firewood and still suck in bed. Someone could run a marathon and still suck in bed.
Beyond the question of basic fitness, One of the most important things to screen for is mindset. Good sex requires an awareness of what's going on with the other person.
I think you're probably better off considering something I mentioned earlier on: look up social groups on Facebook.
There are a lot of groups organized around hobbies and interests. These groups have public events that anyone can attend. You can go to these things and meet people and socialize. It's a good way to find people to date.

Alpha women are just so annoying and exhausting to deal with. They're always fighting for control. Make everything a competition. Always wanting to be right, and won't admit when they're wrong.
And whereas men are willing to date down, women want to date up. When she's already at the top of her world, it leaves a very small pool of eligible men.
I was in a relationship with a university math professor. A woman in a Very male industry. I loved how intelligent she was. She was also hot, fit, and the sex was great. It was also all of the annoying shit I mentioned above. She Just wasn't worth the headache.
Hold up.... Because it sounds like you just dated a bitch.
I work in a leadership position professionally... I can't always be right or never admit I'm wrong. Good leadership is regardless of gender and it sounds like your ex was bad at it.
And yeah why wouldn't anyone date up and not accept any less if they can?
[–]anirma_sharudh -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Alphas, Betas, Gammas and other Greek letters aren't appropriate adjectives for people. You just dated someone who made you feel insecure so you're ranting about her being annoying.
[–]Narcan9 -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I wasn't insecure. I was annoyed. And if you think Alpha women don't exist, then your viewpoint is irrelevant.

This shit doesn't exist. Go watch some Kevin Samuels videos before you waste your youth
[–]150420throwaway 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Kevin Samuels is very good at least from what I’ve seen, but in order to take his advice you need to throw away your ego, which an average man handles better than the average woman (not talking about OP, it’s just evident from his videos where only few women actually see and understand what he is saying isn’t malicious, he’s trying to make sure they don’t end up being miserable in few years time).
[–]truthbomb999 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
but in order to take his advice you need to throw away your ego
I agree....but OP is getting a cold dose of reality that what she's doing isn't working and that's the first step to living in reality and losing her ego
[–]TheConnoissuer 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You can't have a co-dominant relationship. There will be a power struggle until someone wins, most likely ending in a breakup. Get a grip this sounds ridiculous
[–]OverCommunication432 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Well kudos to you for knowing what you want. You seem like a great woman. Hope your search works out. I’d say look for someone in a position of power similar to yours.
[–]gmilfmoneymilk 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
This is a good idea. I usually don't date within my work circle but maybe I should?
[–]OverCommunication432 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Work circle might be very very messy with HR and work ethics and stuff. Not your job, maybe a different company. Do a networking party or something of that nature where different directors are present. Hell maybe even a different division in your company. But please don’t shit where you eat, that always ends in somebody losing their job.
[–]gmilfmoneymilk 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
But theoretically I should always have room to move, so maybe I should date like a project manager for a pharmaceutical development company instead to ensure my career isn't effected?
[–]OverCommunication432 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
If that’s what you want, then yes. Good luck out there, I believe in you!!
[–]150420throwaway 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Dont shit where you eat is a common phrase used as advice for men who may consider dating/hooking up at work. If it’s a job you don’t care about, sure, fuck away, but for a man who would be in your shoes the phrase above would apply, not entirely sure if a woman in that position would carry the same risks though.
Edit - I do agree with others that what you’re trying to achieve in relationship terms may be extremely difficult
[–]Bogzbony 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You're not too intimidating, it just doesn't make sense. As people said you want to "hunt" a dominant man while dominant men will "hunt" you and you will disqualify them because they do. So the only chance is to meet them and shoot first so you can get the "huntress" status but aren't you passive like most of women are when it comes to seduction?
I think you should work on yourself and on what you really want by adding some rationality.
Best of luck to you.
[–]blessedwiththecurse 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I’ve had a similar experience like this before. There was this girl in my uni who was known to be quite dominant and not many guys approached her. When she walked in a room you could sense her presence because girls were intimidated by her and guys were into her but put her on a pedestal. At the time I had a solid rotation so didn’t see the reason to chase and flirt much. I decided to get to know her abit completely platonically which made her feel some type of way because most guys are too submissive around her. What she then did was invite me to study with her in the library sometimes. I’d bring one of my girls with me just to see how she’d react and she was literally hooked to me. Everytime I wouldn’t give her the validation she’d constantly want my approval more. She ended up pursuing me for a while until we ended up hooking up. So to answer your question, you should go for guys that know game. Go for the guys that have exceptional social skills because they probably can read the room well and know when you’re making a move. Go to some expensive bars or exclusive nightclubs that’s where you’ll find them
[–]150420throwaway 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

You have masculine traits and are looking for a masculine man. That will never work out for you. It's best to just accept what you can get because what you described is never going to happen. Find a nice submissive guy who you can dominate because that's all you can get.
The guy you want will never be attracted to a dominate masculine woman. It's like 2 magnets flipped around, too much resistance for them to make a connection.
[–]gmilfmoneymilk 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

[–]guwopavelli123 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You may be doomed if you're not willing to change. I don't think a really dominant guy would want a Co dominant relationship. That doesn't really even make sense. You also mentioned being a queen and having a king but it doesn't work that way. If a queen marries somebody that isn't the king, he doesn't become the king he's the queen's husband for example look at queen Elizabeth's husband he is not the king of England
[–]TheConnoissuer 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Sadly society is turning many women masculine these days. Women think that guys are attracted to them because of their social status, career and degrees. Those are things women look for in men and are of no real interest to us. Career women are usually overly opinionated, pushy, and condescending. Masculine men want women who are submissive, cooperative, and know how to get on board with their program.
Good luck because society screwed you over. You are wasting all your prime years of attracting a man and having a family for some bs career. The women's movement was funded and started by the Rockefellers so they can put the women to work, effectively doubling the tax revenue. Plus they were able to take control of all the children. Thank feminism for your problems

I'm married. I'm not being avoided. I'm looking to up my game to find my perfect secondary partner.

You keep bringing up all this work stuff..
You come across as I'm The Shit..

Like I said, the opposite of feminine.
Your whole post and comment section screams the opposite of what most men find attractive.
Nobody wants a battle with their women.
I'm not looking to battle with anyone?
And I'm not saying I'm the shit, I flaws like everyone else but I'm not a submissive person. I wasn't born that way. That isn't a fault.

Not submissive is a huge reason on why this will be difficult to accomplish..
No guy likes a battle with his woman..
All of this is the opposite of feminine.
The opposite of what most guys truly like and want.

Unfortunately you’re not what alpha men are attracted to.
No feminine woman sees men as prey to catch. Any man with an alpha bone in his body would vomit at that idea.
It also doesn’t help that this is reinforced by your stature.
You’re playing a losing game, either learn how to be submissive/ feminine or accept the submissive beta males who will appreciate what you have.
[–]truthbomb999 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It seems that you want to be the alpha in the relationship. As a man I can appreciate a confident, self assured woman but not a dominant one. That doesn't work for me no matter how attractive she is. What you're looking for is a man who'll lead you on a merry chase. One who will always dance a step away but draw you deeper and deeper in. Then when he lets you catch him, you're so frothed up from the chase that his touch is lightning.
Most guys are dogs who just chase tails because that's what dogs do. What you want is a rat, one who likes to be chased. Rats are usually found in the underground... artists, musicians, bohemians. You may want to reconsider your hunting grounds.
[–]gmilfmoneymilk 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I'll try, but non performers are not as attractive.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Well, you have a 100% chance with the guys who are pursuing you. And I bet some of them aren't totally submissive, some are probably really hot.
You have a 50% chance with the guys you're trying to pursue, and from what you've said, they're all turning you down.
I'd be grateful if I even got approached by one girl in my life, I have to do all the approaching, and I fail every single time. If you want to succeed, the best way is to find it in yourself to give those guys a chance.
I know what I like and I'd never settle on less than I deserve. I'm not looking to "succeed* but just find the right fit. Success isn't an issue with me.

Hmm... When you see the kind of guy you like, what happens next - what do you do as this "hunter who likes grabbing her own catches"?
[–]gmilfmoneymilk -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (26 children) | Copy Link
I go up to then and talk to them. I make sure I find that thing they're proud about and let them brag as I ask more questions about that thing and hype them up and make them feel great. I'll buy them a shot and a beer as I do this to ensure that their intoxication level is adequate in order to be more receptive.
I'll then build that tension while boosting their ego and get that tension so tight and their ego so large and if I like them, I'll say goodnight. If I find them attractive but boring, I'll sleep with them.
My issue is generally everything after this.... The follow up.
[–]DaydreamingMister 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (23 children) | Copy Link
-When you chatted, and you liked them, and you said goodnight - how did you leave it with them? (Handed off your number? Asked for theirs? None of the above - just made your exit?)
-Also, what is your desired outcome? Be a master seducer of strong men? Long term relationship with one person?
[–]gmilfmoneymilk -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (22 children) | Copy Link
I always get their number/social media info and walk away. Then search them and based on that, make a decision on whether to follow up.
I'm looking for a relationship. I have no issues with hookups.
[–]DaydreamingMister 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (17 children) | Copy Link
I'm guessing hookups are going fine.
As far as a relationship... It sounds like everything is in your hands after the initial meeting. So, what's the rest of the story - what happens after you search the person and decide you do, in fact, wish to follow up... what's the rest of the picture that you did not detail here yet - you reach out, but they don't respond? Or you reach out and date them for a month, then they vanish? Date them three months, then they get weak & turn into a woman instead of being a strong man like what you seek?
[–]gmilfmoneymilk 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link
It's getting the date in afterwards that I struggle with. I'll reach out, start texting, and then it dies. I'm so much better at this in person for some reason.
[–]DaydreamingMister 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago* (6 children) | Copy Link
Well - for getting a sense of why some men didn’t seem to have more follow-through on getting themselves into your presence for a date, there’s plenty that I’m flying blind on here…
For example, I obviously can’t see your looks; or see how you are at flowing in your feminine energy (which is what the kind of man you seem interested in is going to want -- and that means I def hope you know how at the end of the workday to switch OUT of that masculine energy you spoke of before and relax into your feminine energy, so that a masculine man will feel the right sexual polarity with you).
But without the benefit of seeing those aspects, what I would say is:
Once you’ve contacted a guy after getting his info - being great at texting isn’t really what you need.
You’re not trying to become his texting buddy.
You already put in an appropriate amount of work for making your openness plain. After all, you approached and chatted up him - as well as taking his info and reaching out later. So once you text him, that’s when you can def exchange a few pleasantries but waste very little time getting to the point…
“Well hey - really enjoyed our conversation that night. Say the word if you decide you’d like to schedule a date. Either way, enjoy the rest of your day!”
If he’s ready then and starts settling day/time/location details with you, then great.
If he’s just like “Okay!” - but then just keeps chatting or whatever instead of actually setting a date, that’s when you’re…
“Haha Very cool. Well I’d better jump off the phone. When you’re ready to schedule a date, just give a holler.” And then you get OFF the phone.
*You also forget about him from there, unless he reaches out to set a date.
If he reaches out again, you’re happy to hear from him but get straight to the point.
“Hey, it’s great to hear from you. What did you decide about scheduling to meet up?”
If he still isn’t ready…
“Great - if you change your mind, let me know! Tied up right now. Can’t talk. Gotta run. Good day to ya!” And then you get off the phone.
Rinse, recycle, repeat if you hear from him again… until whenever is the moment you’ve had enough rounds of that and decide to bid him farewell/stop responding.
I don't understand.... How am I masculine?
This is a good idea! Thank you.
[–]DaydreamingMister 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I suppose the bit about masculine energy
[–]DaydreamingMister1 point 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
Ah. Sorry for confusion -
My thought on the "masculine energy" stuff is just that, some of the things you said when painting the picture of yourself...
Im 6' tall, muscular and Latina. I have a strong handshake, I speak with authority as I'm a director and I know what I want in life. Clearly I'm a type a personality. ...I think I'm having trouble with seducing men because of my first impression above. ... I find that I'm drawing only submissive men which is not what I'm interested in. I'm looking for men like myself. ...I'm not looking to change myself because who I am works out for me professionally.
From those things, my thought process was basically:
-I have no idea how you actually come off when interacting with men in your personal life (like I said earlier - that's one of the things I'm "flying blind" on, since I've never seen you in action). For all I know, you may be out there oozing femininity like no one else.
-Yet it sounds like you do know how to be in your masculine energy at work... which is 100% appropriate for any woman who would like to totally SLAY in her career. So good job, way to go.
And as you stated, "who I am works out for me professionally"...
-And while there are masculine men (like me) who are attracted to the kind of woman that is a force to be reckoned with at work -- the same men would continue to be interested only if she also knows how to switch out of her masculine after work and let HIM be the man for the evening...
(and something I understand in life is that that "switching out of her masculine" thing isn't something each and every strong woman finds it easy to do).
But - if for you, that struggle is no issue, then you're going to do fine. 👌🏾
You never explained what masculine energy is so none of this makes sense.
[–]DaydreamingMister3 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
Haha Your direct, succinct responses here are amusing me.
Some thoughts for your consideration:
-Masculine energy is all about drive, purpose, mission, succeeding, accomplishing, breaking through barriers... (It centers on "achieving".)
Feminine energy is all about bonding, connecting, relationships, opening up to receive love... (It centers on "experiencing".)
Of course - both men and women have both masculine and feminine energy. A man or woman may flow in either energy at any given moment.
-The way masculine energy is described in the previous bullet point is perhaps like the way you yourself flow when you are at work. Which is perfect for that professional life context.
But for your personal life, when you are interacting with men you're curious about romantically - hopefully you have an easy time not needing to be the one always leading the interactions, directing things, making the plans, making the decisions, etc. The reason I say that is because a masculine man is not submissive; he will be turned off by a woman who stays in her masculine energy when dealing with him.
Haha For him, it may feel like wrestling or like butting heads if the lady seems unable to be the submissive one. The sexual polarity will be off if both people are staying in their masculine. So in that case, the gentleman will simply move on to someone who enjoys being in her feminine energy with him.
And when it comes to that "enjoys being in her feminine energy" woman...
Rather than coming off like she has a need to be in charge, or like she is in "holding her own with the boys" mode - when the masculine man sees her interacting with others/when he himself interacts with her, she's probably chatty and charming and chuckling... as if she is a genuinely happy, peaceful, relaxed person who enjoys life and enjoys being a woman.
(Yes, while she is also doing things you mentioned in the original post, such as dressing girly and wearing a touch of makeup.)
Anyways... with those things in mind, maybe what you read in my previous comment will make more sense.

It's getting the date in afterwards that I struggle with. I'll reach out, start texting, and then it dies.
It's simple. The sex wasn't that good and the guys have other, better options available so they move on.
Dominant men are universally attractive
I don't sleep with them if I plan on following up.
[–]truthbomb999 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Why not? This makes no sense to me
Because my pussy is to be earned and one conversation doesn't warrant that.
[–]truthbomb9991 point 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
Oh dear god, not this "my vagina is a prize" shit. Your pussy isn't special and sex is a necessary and required element of a relationship. There are literally tons of hot girls out there who are willing to be feminine and have sex, especially with attractive and socially dominant men.
You guys are having sex together. Your pussy isn't something you are giving him. This attitude is going to lead to a horrible sex life, assuming you ever get a partner.
If it wasn't a prize, then why do I have men chasing me?
It's not a relationship if I'm meeting them for a first time. That's a one night stand.
I already have a husband and we fuck regularly. This is for a secondary partner. We are ethically non monogamous.
Because that's the social convention and you are attractive....but there are tons of attractive women out there. You aren't special. Every women has a vagina and many are willing to use it.
It's only a one night stand if they don't come back.
I'm familiar with ENM, this is still going to be mission impossible for you. The vast majority of men don't like masculine women.
Again, I'm not masculine. I just know what I want out of life and I go for it and generally succeed with the exception of this.
With that said, I got some valuable advice on here so I think you just may not be able to help me so you're saying it's impossible. It's ok not to know something.
Again, I'm not masculine
You can't make that determination objectively...same for determining you have a great personality, especially by your career.
I do know many women in successful ENM relationships. They just aren't masculine women. The masculine women struggle like hell.
If you aren't succeeding, you might want to objectively seek to figure that out

It's all about reading body language. It's kind of like chess: if you see that all signs indicate to advance, you advance. If her body language is open and leaning to you, move closer, if it still is, then touch her etc etc.
This is a gradual process starting from when you meet them, you want to start reading them upon introduction. Most of my casual advances take place in the flattering phase, bit I always try to endure that I don't immediately respond to open body language as I want them to always yearn for more than what I'm doing in the moment.

It could be any game really, anything that's competitive. Doesn't even have to be physical. Like a trivia night maybe. When you go to the gym, maybe target the guys who are in good shape but not jacked out of their mind so you get more of a compromise on sub/dom

You are contradicting yourself. You don't like submissive men, yet you want to be the one who chases men? Either stop chasing men or start liking submissive guys because otherwise nothing is going to change. I recommend just being normal and not chasing guys. This is weird for a woman to do. It's normal for a woman to like dominant guys, but abnormal to be the one who chases. You should be the catch, not the other way around. Just because you are six foot doesn't mean men won't go after you, especially the taller guys who find you attractive.
I approach because I can. It's also a guaranteed conversation. If I don't, then how will he know I want to talk to him?

What do you mean? How do you think all the other girls attract men's attention? You are a woman, so just use your appearance (I'm assuming you must be attractive). Give them the eye. You will probably even stand out because you are taller. I'm not saying that you can't talk to them. Approaching them is fine, but you shouldn't be flirty and dominant like a man would (even though it would be better if you let the man start the conversation). All you need to do is show him that you are interested. If the guy is actually a confident and quality dude then he will follow through and pursue you. Otherwise, you will keep attracting submissive guys because you aren't allowing yourself to be the submissive/feminine one. Basically let the guy do the work. You shouldn't have to do much other than look pretty and show interest. Maybe you come off as more intimidating because you are taller? I'm not sure, but I really doubt that would make too much of a difference with guys who are taller than you.

it's easy, just pursues a dominant man who dont interests in you.but normally,if a man doesnt like you,he does not like you, hard to change.
